Say, I think this one is my favorite: "she cracked a faint smile at the snake woman's nativity. O_o MWAHAHAHA! I smile at your nativity! It amuses me! I have this image of someone pointing and laughing at the nativity scene in someone's hard at Christmas, or something.

On wolves that you just can't trust: "The other, lied dead just mere feet away. Damn those wolves, always lying. And damn those commas, while you're at it.



Finally, a voice in LQ's head tells her the truth: "You're unskilled and belligerent, you let your emotions out of control." Forgot a few key words, but she's getting closer. ;)

What the hell kind of sentence structure is this: "Never aptly learned of her past successes or wayward excursions which lead to temporary captures and courageous escapes. Riiiiight, LQ. Riiiight.

And while we're on the subject, does anyone here think that LQ knows what "bicephalous" means? Or do you think she was just leafing through her "word of the day" calendar, found it, and used it without knowing what it meant? (And you know that LQ has one of those calendars, because every few days she's waving around a new word like dirty underwear. And she usually uses it wrong, too. This week's word seems to be "menial.")

WHile I do get a laugh out of these malapropisms, they also still sort of sadden and upset me. No one should get out of school and still be this stupid. You know? How did she get out? Why didn't she have to repeat English until she could at least speak it even just a little bit better than many immigrants? Because I swear to Christ, I know many people from other countries whose first language is not English, and they speak and write it worlds better than she does.

I mean, WTF?!
