Well, I just joined the Purple Rose board as well, and although I haven't posted yet, I've been reading some posts. First of all, give PR the benefit of the doubt. It's run by Violet, who is REALLY nice, so we gotta give her credit! Personally, I'm not sure I WILL post though, for one very good reason. I can't relate to these girls. Yes, a lot of them ARE young, but they seem perfectly nice and very cool. Still, I'm old enough that I just can't relate to their problems anymore. You know, like "My Mom won't buy me my own webspace" or something like that...because I never really discovered the Internet till about the same time I graduated from high school, and by then I was responsible for all my fun extras like that.

So absolutely nothing against Violet and her lovely crowd. I guess I'm just to stuck in the college-age mentality. Or older :/ Hey, I just spent all afternoon with a bunch of married women and mothers! Gah, I feel old. An old maid, worse yet. :D Go me! Of course, I'm not really able to be a kid anymore, for all that I still live at home. The main reasons I still live here are that I can't afford to live on my own, and that my Mom needs me here to help care for my Dad, who has Parkinson's.

Ah, how wonderful is reality when it kicks you in the teeth... :P
