I have two painted miniatures on top of my computer's tower: a Hyaenodon (from the now-discontinued Beastmasters series), and a Black Fury werewolf in Hispo (mostly wolf) form (from the Werewolf: the Apocalypse series). I painted both of them myself, and consider them good-luck charms.

Some of the erotica I write is inspired by various heavy metal songs.

I love playing hunting sims. I have the entire Deer Hunter series through Deer Hunter 4, Carnivore: Ice Age, and Rocky Mountain Trophy Hunter 1 and 3.

I'm the only person I know who actually *likes* the taste of Pepto-Bismol; I wish there was a candy with that flavor.

I'm a bit of a computer nerd. My computer is a dual-boot setup with both Windows98SE and Mandrake Linux 8.1 and two hard drives.

I'm extremely interested in paleontology and evolutionary biology -- not so much dinosaurs as ancient mammals, but also the big Permian die-off, the origin of multi-celled animals in the Pre-Cambrian, and the Cambrian Explosion. Actually, almost anything on that subject can interest me. This is so even though I'm nothing more than a very interested amateur in this field -- no degrees or anything.

I own a first-edition copy of the main rulebook for Werewolf: the Apocalypse, a first-paperback printing of Stephen Brust's "To Reign In Hell", and a paperback copy of R. Dale Guthrie's "Frozen Fauna: the Story of Blue Babe". Oh, yes, and several of John Preston's books.
