Jackie, I whole heartily agree with what you have said, but dont you think people have contacted the SNU have put in their complaints only to be ignored. Now, this could be hearsay but I know from some people who did complain about Linda there was an enquiry which had to be held in two parts because of the volume of complaints against this woman. If I am correct the panel only listened to the first half, and because of the high volume of paper work they actually cancelled the second part without even viewing all the evidence. I for one have sent quite a few letters to Coulston and up to date have had no reply, the last being in 2010. I and others have complained according to the rule book, sending in the complaint to the committee, only to have Wendy deny all acknowledgment.
I know for a fact including me, people are weary of doing or proceeding with any complaints because it was heard through the grapevine Linda actually threw brake fluid over another mediums car, I did see the damage. People are reluctant to to continue because of the bullying that has gone on. Wendy has lied has denied things, then has made it very uncomfortable to continue attending that Church, so what do people do? Yes I agree its not good using a false name but because of harassment bullying etc etc from Wendy; people need to clear their name, something I know Wendy has prevented people from doing.
Concerned person and others on here have made it public, without this site where does one go? Take the Mike Ashmoore business, Lesley Hill, Mike Ireland where people then insulting where people then throwing accusations being bitchy, no they were trying to make people aware, so anyone else wouldnt fall foul to them like they have. It all became public with these people and their sexual intentions. There is really no insults on here, if you go back and read thoroughly all the comments concerned person was making a statement their opinion stating their experience with Wendy, others have come in and told theirs. You have said you do not attend the churches now because of the nastiness etc that goes on in them, so how can you really comment and disagree with what concerned person and others are saying, because even you have stated about the nastiness that takes place, its sad that you just walked away, excepted it without trying to do something about it, and in doing so expect others to do the same.
Ive had a lot of experience with Wendy and her lies, there is not other way to describe it, its lying and denying what she has said and done thus, making the person out themselves to be the liar, how can you agree with that, as you yourself walked away and excepted it. without doing anything at all, to me that is sad you probably enjoyed going like most of us only to be disappointed on the running of things. To be ousted out to be made out to be a liar if thats how you except things thats so sad. I and probably others will not except being treated like scum.
As for john Durrant like the all the other sexual predators people need to be warned and made aware just like the mike Ireland and all the others. It is sad you walked away and accepted this behaviour, but, you cant expect others to do the same. If you accept being called a liar, trouble maker,etc etc and made out to be scum, I find that sad. Just one more thing, I have actually seen Wendy along with others including the old secretary filing complaints in the bin, yes I dont have the evidence on this, but I do have witnesses; you have to look at all the comments, if 3 people have said Wendy is a barefaced liar, and she says she hasnt lied etc etc then the balance of probability comes in to focus. So many people complained about Mike Ireland, so many people where claimed as just being vindictive bitchy it took quite sometime before the truth came out, it make you wonder how many people where hurt in waiting for the truth to come out. Think about it
