'Not given out Name' - thank you for your support. To all of you who who are attempting to justify and defend your own motivations and actions, I can only say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.......please be aware that my concerns with Daulby Street are 100% justified in that there IS corruption, which I have witnessed first hand, having been lied to by Wendy Rotheram. I have no need to provide 'proof' on this because I rely on my own experience. Secondly, I am concerned for the mental health of people who are actively and knowingly encouraged to 'develop' in the open circle, and most concerning of all is that Wendy Rotheram is fully aware of the situation but rather than act on it in a responsible manner, she chooses to lie and allows the situation to continue. So my intention here is NOT to bitch or criticise, but to make public a situation which is by nature IRRESPONSIBLE and reckless. People with mental health issues need to understand where their 'clairvoyance' is coming from and seek proper medical advice to help manage their confusion, and when a person is so deluded as to refuse to believe they are unwell, the Committee at Daulby Street should at least practice damage limitation by not actively encouraging such a person to 'develop'. Sadly, there would appear to be an element of naivety amongst mediums who believe that any 'voices' and 'intuition' must be coming from 'spirit' and therefore is a 'good thing'. I disagree. There are also people attending the open circle who have a bad motivation in wanting to develop mediumship and there would appear to be no guidance or interest from the Committee regarding what ought to be a pure spiritual motivation. Even though there have been attempts to demonise me, I have no self interest whatsoever in bringing these matters to everyone's attention. My concerns are for the deluded people who are convinced that because their motivation is to 'help people', that makes everything 'ok'. I disagree entirely. In my experience, Spiritualist Churches in general tend to attract a high proportion of individuals with 'personality disorders'. I have yet to meet any Committee Members who are trained to recognise the symptoms of these disorders which is quite understandable, but when the President of a Church agrees with my that somebody has a 'fractured aura' and will never take personal responsibility for the contents of their own mind, and that they will 'never change', any decent responsible person would be concerned, not just at the 'hand wringing' of the President and subsequent lies and denial, but also in their continued facilitating of this individual into the 'open circle'. So 'not given out name', if enough of us are willing to step forward with genuine grievances, perhaps we can get together at some point and figure out a way to get something done about the damaging 'dis-service' provided by Daulby Street.
