Firework, every thing, every post, every comment from ex members of Daulby is unfortunately true, but, there is a hell of lot more. I’m glad you haven’t had to go through the experience most of us have, but lets look at what has been rumoured by Linda only just recently.
I don’t know anything of what concerned person is talking about, I attend another Church now but, I have heard Linda telling people about this, now I know this is only on “hearsay” but you have to look at past behaviour from her and her gossiping mouth. Since the comment on here from concerned person, the very first time they posted, Linda told two other people that “Thelma” who was the vice president had problems with alcohol, during the conversation she also mentioned about Maureen Griffiths and Les who now both run Birkenhead church. Linda mentioned “both” were alcoholics, however, I know you are going to say “hearsay” but, I was also told along with others from Linda about Peters problems Mental and alcoholism Peter confided in Linda and she told many others about this.
Now back to Daulby when Linda was president of the district council she actually took the voting forms around to different churches asking people to vote for her, the I was present in one church when she did this and the actual votes etc in Daulby where “fiddled” by her and Wendy both were involved with this to “keep the undesirables” of the committee they both only wanted people who were their friends. How do I know this, because shamefully I was there and seen this with my own eyes.
Linda was thrown off the district and she had a huge fall out with most of them who are still on the district, now because when she was asked to leave Linda tried to do a “mass” walk out. Vicky Wrench the secretary is another liar and even told some people she didn’t want to get involved one person I know has a letter/email asking her not to send her any more copies of letters. This was when Linda tried to take some people to the district council complaining about them after some people did what was asked of them I know of one such person and have seen documents telling her, no sorry demanding her to put the web site back and to leave it , Linda then took this to the committee at Daulby and also the district council saying this person has wiped the web site off out of maliciousness, I was present in the committee when Linda whom use to run the actual committee and vote when she was only the supervisor. This was denied by Wendy that Linda use to do this, but I was there.
Then you have to look at another “set up” Linda did to another person, which went to a tribunal this person which shown to be innocent, with all evidence in their favour yet Linda and the district council had them suspended.
The things that has gone on in Daulby are way from any rule book that I know, Wendy and Linda are still good mates, Linda still attends Daulby even though she has a criminal record, has been done for benefit fraud, and although this is only hearsay, quite a few people whom I know reputable people honest people (I was there when she came into Runcorn fuming about it) and was told after the open circle that Linda had had her house raided by custom & excise for selling cigarettes that she had got duty free. now I know this to be true because she use to sell them in the church including Wigan and Runcorn. I know this is fact as she got me some. Wendy allowed this.
Linda was allowed by Wendy to use the church and get signatures for all the complaints that had been put in about her. Wendy tried to say she didn’t know it was a petition in her support, but Wendy knew as I was there in the kitchen when Linda told her what she was going to do.
Linda is still running the church with Wendy and it is not by any SNU rule book either, Linda was told by the district she could not handle any money from events yet Wendy still allows this. So is this running the church by the “BOOK”.
There is so much more to this, this has been going on for a long time, even if you go back in time, the SNU knew about Mick Ashmore , and don’t forget he is and still is linda’s friend, like Linda said recently, I was standing there she would support Mike Ireland. Daulby will never run right while you have Wendy and Linda there, more so Linda because to be fair Wendy is only linda’s puppet.
It only took each and every one of us, to give an opinion to something we did not agree with, and that my friend is how it all started, it got so bad the victimisation rom Linda and who Wendy supported that a lot of us had to put in complaints to the SNU, the old secretary was one trying to do her job and run the church according to the rule book, but Wendy and Linda kept putting thing in her way, Linda would vote and be in charge of all committee meetings and when this was sent to Coulston in a complaint, Wendy denied it, and so the secretary was ousted out because she knew too much of what was going on behind the screens. I was there when minutes where altered I was there when things where left out of the minutes, and other stuff was put in place that wasn’t discussed nor did it happen.
Daulby needs to be exposed to what is going on behind the scene, and the SNU also need to be exposed for allowing it, but then again look at the past history of the SNU, even those up there tell lies along with the others in the district council.
you only have to look at how they ran in (District Council)changed the locks in Birkenhead Church and threw out the committee and put in place their own for less than what Daulby has done and continues to do. I think its now time the SNU do exactly the same, throw out this committee and put their own in, there is too much underhandedness going on in that church for it to be ignored any longer. And whats even sadder is people like you don’t know half of it. That what your are talking about with concerned person it nothing compared with what truly goes on.
Many of the people I have spoken to recently have said they’d be willing to post on here all documentation as proof, however they did say they’d have to edited out their address and emails, but would be willing to post to show that we are not lying we have nothing to gain, only the truth coming out, and I’m sure Wendy and Linda wouldn’t mind for every one to do this as I’m sure they would have nothing to hide if they are telling the truth.
