never written on here before although I have been reading all the threads, I’m not even going to give my true name out either, but Daulby is the topic of conversation in the Church I’m in now. Just want to point out a few things here but first I’d like to say.
Your words Jaberwocky have real meaning and have got me thinking so thank you for such inspirational words, it has certainly got me thinking and a few others, your words are so moving, true spiritual words.
I would also like to give my side of the story hence why I’m not going to give out my true name because you’ll understand when you’ve read what I and others went through.
I’m also one who put in a complaint against Linda Marshall, what confuses me though how can some one be a President of the District Council and who was the supervisor for Daulby, be able to make oneself the President? of Daulby, and when she stepped down to vice- President and make Peter President how was she able to do this with out it going to “votes” she was the supervisor because the church was under supervision.
Also I’d like to point out its not just Daulby but them up in Stansted the SNU, because when I put in a complaint did you know Minister Tom Haver who was dealing with all this gave Linda copies of our statements and lists of our witnesses, Wendy & Linda did photo copies of this, Wendy also allowed Linda to look at the members information for address and telephone numbers. I was one of them who got a phone call of Linda threatening me I didn’t think this should have been allowed Wendy breaking data protection, another person in there who I really didn’t know they were just someone who went to services and open circle knew my address and phone number they knew all about the complaint I had put in, they told me and sowed me a copy of my statement they had been handed by Wendy this was when the petition was done for signatures in Linda’s support in open circle . I was told by Linda and Wendy agreed if I went ahead lets just say I was told my life wouldn’t be worth living. Wendy also allowed Linda access to other peoples address and phone numbers from the witness list I know I have spoken to them, just shocked that Wendy did this its against the law.
Wendy had never welcomed us back in Daulby she has made that perfectly clear none of us is welcome.
I know ex member we both attend the same Church now and both of us have never been welcome back in Daulby and that’s why they had to shut the investigation down half way through because Wendy and Linda had all the witness list of people and what they have complained about. But the blame has to also lay at Tom Havers feet for doing this, his excuse was she had a right to know what the complaint about her was and who was complaining but we asked for her list but was told we were not entitled to have it. Wendy was in charge then and she allowed Linda in the office to get names and addresses.
So I’d like to say sorry to all the others for backing out, but when you’re sitting there minding your own business and a brick gets thrown at your window (it didn’t break by the way) its very scary, so all the blame has to go back to Wendy and Tom Haver they are the ones who did this and Wendy had no right to let Linda look at our address either, so if this does got to the papers I am going to make sure this is told to the reporter that Wendy allows any one in the office and access to peoples private stuff. So that’s why people hide behind false names and don’t complain just sort of leave and go to another Church as I would hate for any one else to go through what we did and the SNU Tom Haver and all them on the District Council allowed it Wendy and Linda got off scott free
