ATTENTION all you Joe Power (I am the most psychic individual on the planet, no the universe and I must be seen to believed and no I am not totally deluded) fans.
I am absolutely devastated to tell you that his last much publicised “Show,” complete with spooky woo picture advertisement, scheduled for Sunday 27th May, seemed to have some problems. Unbelievable because he told us that tickets were selling fast and then that a new block of tickets had been released and you could not buy any on the night etc etc. Hype hype hype and even more claptrap hype all of which just did not work. Why, because people have at long last cottoned on that he is and was totally useless at what he claimed he could do.
Now let’s look at the reported facts (as well as the deceit and lies).
I have taken my information from Joe’s very own Facebook page-“Joe Power on Tour Dates” where all the entries posted by him must naturally be truthful and honest. Copies of the original and various entries are shown below at the end of my little analysis.
Now let’s have a look at what he told us. Are you sitting comfortably?
14th March - We were told of his show to be held on 27th May at the Epstein Theatre. But hype hype you could not buy the tickets yet and we were told that they would be available “this week”. Oh I could hardly contain my excitement and sense of expectation.
A day later whoopee you could buy tickets. Obviously the flood gates were now open and we were going to see astonishing ticket sales! Particularly as he said tickets were limited and astonishingly they were, but for the right reasons?
15th March - More hype telling us that if you had your name down for priority tickets you must get them now as they would soon be available to the general public. Blimey there must really be a rush on – or perhaps not?
19th March - Joe tells us that only 8 rows are left in the centre stalls. Sounds reasonably good until you find out that there are only 13 rows altogether in the centre stalls. That means that he claims to have sold out 5 rows- ie A to E. Funny that because I checked out the on-line booking and was offered 6 seats all together in Row B! No please do not jump to the conclusion that dear Joe is not telling the truth about ticket sales. He must be just a little more confused than normal, bless him.
30th March - He still tells us that tickets are selling fast yet 11 days later I can still get them on Row B. He must still be confused. Anybody got some suitable medication?
20th April - I sense more panic has set in as he now tell us that he has “just heard” (I wonder from whom, his spirit guide or maybe his Manager and wife at a guess?) that if you buy tickets by the 22nd April you will get a free signed copy of his book. Surely people now would be falling over themselves to book tickets. Err no actually, I could still get them on Row B. Now forgive me for being a bit naïve but if he is in control he would have surely been part of the decision making process to offer his book of fiction with tickets but obviously not. I would have thought that he and his wife would communicate directly with each other or perhaps they go through a medium who is just as bad as Joe so the messages get all scrambled up and can apply to anybody about anything at anytime.
2nd May - Today he tells us that a new block of tickets has been released. Odd that, as I can still book them on Row B. Very popular row is this or maybe all the rows in the theatre are marked row B.
7th May - He tells us that the tickets are selling very fast and more rows have been released. Hang on a second Joe I can still get them on the famous Row B. In fact I could still get them on row B on 14th May!
18th May - I have just looked at ticket availability and wow I cannot now get any closer than Row C now. Oh how I do miss my Row B.
26th May - I can still book tickets on Row D on the night before the fiasco, I beg your pardon, show.
27th May – Its showtime, apparently. But wait a minute we are now told this morning on his Facebook page that the show will be filmed. Now please you cynics out there I would not like to think that this “filming bit” was hastily added on Facebook, a few hours before the show just to entice people. It was obviously an oversight and they forgot to mention it weeks ago in their publicity blurb. Its amazing what good “filming” Joe will be able to do with his iPhone-well what did you expect a fully-fledged professional film crew.
So that means with all his hype hype hype over the last 9 weeks he has only managed to pre- sell tickets to the fourth row.
I am so absolutely devastated by this public dis-interest that I am thinking of setting up a National, er no, maybe it should be a Global or even Universal petition asking the public to please believe and accept everything he ever utters, no matter how ridiculous or stupid and send him financial contributions to enable him to sustain a better life style.
28th - Well the show is over now. How did it go? Apparently it was amazing. Let me show you the quote on Facebook “Amazing show last night Joe, your accuracy and details in your messages still shock and amaze me. A truly fantastic night, Well done. Xxxxxx”.
Who did the comment come from? It was Claudine Hope who is his wife!
Funny how his Facebook statements do not square up with the reality but hey that is Joe Power all over. How else would you expect a convicted fraudster who has spent time in prison to behave?
Oh by the way I have a tip for Joe which he should find most useful and helpful for his future. It is Ormskirk Jobcentre Plus, 31a Church Street, Ormskirk, Lancs L39 3QT. Good luck Joe you will sure need it.
