The Long Island Ducks have been put together with a select group of players who either played in New York or were born in New York. Owner Jim Cast missed out on a few of his beloved NY Mets such as Tom Terrific and Doc, but was able to snag his favorite old timer in Christy Mathewson. Super Sub John McGraw is also a personal favorite of manager Sport Knox.

The team, like so many in the league, features a number of Hall of Famers. Most notable are "The Mick", "Little Poison", and of course Yogi. Owner Cast also likes a few of his future stars in Goose Gossage and Sandy Koufax.

So where will the team finish, who knows? What we do know is that New Yorkers wanna see New Yorkers. So we've lined them up. QUACK! QUACK! Here come the Ducks!
