First off, this had to be THE most fun I've had in any draft! I made it a point to cover virtually every decade in MLB history beginning with 1881; however, I already play in a league that began in 1912 and I really had more interest in players I grew up watching live. So, at times I passed on some very high quality players from the deadball era to choose more contemporary ones such as Palmer, Jenkins, Marichal & Puckett. I think I did a good job spreading it out. I also wanted to have players play their true OF positions as much as possible, so that influenced my selections as well. And taking Honus Wagner in the first round meant that it would be 3 yrs. until I would have my 1st-choice at SS. So, until then he's basically a UT player and I will be doing some serious juggling. My team is geared more toward power hitters than a lot of speed. I have no idea how the St Paul Pilots will do, but I'm sure it will be a lot of fun!
