Hi Jo- I just read an article that you wrote in Kintyre magazine about Bruces of Kintyre but relayed a story of McCorkindales. It seems we are related. I am connected through your gg grandfather Duncan Mccorkindale through his sister Rose. Rose came to Ontario, Canada and married her fiance John McPhater in 1852. Her family kept contact with cousins in New Zealand for many years. I am trying to reconnect with this part of my family tree as the contact has been lost. I would love to connect with you.
