Catherine waited untill Amazon was over the log before cantered Chase onwards. When she approached the log Chase seemed to pull her forwards, following the experience mare infront of him. Catherine held him back, realising how strong he was getting, she would have to show him who was boss or he wouls begin to take advantage of how strong he was compared to her. He leaped over the log then cantered up the hil quite easily. He then slowed down suddenly as he approached the drop. Catherine allowed him to look at the jumps but just for a second. She decided to take it slow. She had done loads of jumps like these before on Misty but Misty was much older than Chase. She trotted him on and leaned back as he jumped down the first step with slight hesitation. But he was a confident hors enad after he had conquered the first step the rest were easy and he cantered away happily. She patted his neck.
"How was that?" she asked
