Spider walks nervously inside the post and rail fence, snorting and stopping every so often. He is encouraged forwards gently by his rider. Spider had only had Ryan on his back a few times before. He is allowed his head and begins to relax in the confinement of the outdoor school. Ryan gently pushes him on into a trot. The horses head bobbs willingly, and is held high in the air. He's not yet old enough yet to know of head carriage. The horses is asked to change the rein down the middle. Stiffly around the corner he does so and they trot a few circles on both reins. Pleased with the horse Ryan slows him up, halts and pats his neck, praising him. He jumps off, loosens the girth and leads the gelding back to Red bracken stud, stirrups crossed over the saddle.
