Subject: Riding Misty

Catherine grabbed Misty's red headcollar from outside her stable and went up to the field. Misty came straight away when Catherine called her name. She pranced ahead of Catherine pulling at the rope, wanting to do something. Catherine groomed the mare then put a lunge cavason on her and attatched the lunge line. She lunged for only about twenty minutes since lunging is hard work for the horse, she did walk trot and canter on one rein then the same on the other rein. After she had lunged Misty was still full of energy so Catherine decided to take her for a walk through the woods. She tacked the mare up who fidgeted and pranced excitedly even after a hard lunging session. First Catherine went to the indoor school, hoping to watch Ryan and Spider for a bit before she set off with Misty.
