Subject: Ryan and First Frost

Ryan decided he would ride the dapple grey mare, even though she was retired from competition, Ryan would keep her fit is she was to have a foal. He took the ex. dressage champion into the school. Ryan was impressed, although she was stiffer and not as fit as she used to be it was the best flat ride he'd had. She was so responsive and powerful. He tried her extended trot and collected canter, and harder things such as a half pass, and demi pirouette from canter. Things he's never ask an eventer to do, that only an experianced dressage horse could do. Frost was tiring, so ryan pulled her up. "She must have once been amazing." he thought
