Subject: Simple Exercises

Catherine went up to her stallion's field at Pine Acres and called Breeze's name. As usual he looked up at her then trotted off in the other direction. Catherine sighed and went into the big field. She walked all the way up to where her stallion stood grazing and called his name, this time he walked towards her. The big grey thoroughbred x arab lowered his head to her and breathed in her scent while she slipped the headcollar over his head.
Catherine led the excited stallion down t his stable in the stallion block and groomed then tacked up. She used the mounting block and mounted then walked down to one of the outdoor arenas. Breeze calmed down a bit when she was in the saddle and got ready to do some work. She had already set out a few simple fences to do some grid work and after warming up she worked on speedng up and slowing down on the approach to the jump and getting his stride right. Breeze worked well and Catherine finished on a good note. Catherine untacked the stallion and let him loose in the arena while she put the jumps away. The horse trotted round quite happily before she put his bridle back on to lead him up to the barn.
