namely, my older brother's pal Steve set up his own server. All I had to do to get space and an acct is talk to Steve and give him some money. I pay him $15 a month, I've already got two subdomains and virtually unlimited space and all that. It rules.

If you can get money to him on a regular basis, there's a chance I could talk him into giving you an account. But I'm not sure how you'd swing getting payments to him from Singapore, unless he's got a paypal acct.
