Those outfits were featured in the episode where Motoko falls asleep and dreams of Keitarou playing and old SNES-like RPG game. Naru was the princess Keitarou had to rescue, Motoko the scantily clad amazon, Kitsune was the generic cloaked do-nothing character, Suu the beast catgirl thing and Shinobu the Sailormoon-esque nurse girl. Mutsumi was the singing twin guardians of the "great water dragon" aka giant Tamachan.
