Subject: Mace Windu MADNESS

Ok, ok, last post with MADNESS!!in it from me, promise.

Right, now on to the nitty gritty. Mini-Review of Super Deluxe Extra Keen Nifty Why-the-hell-did-I-pay-ten-bucks-for-this-crap Mace Windu!


Well, this is one reason. Metal Lightsaber!

Oh yeah! Real metal baby! Cold, unyeilding, removable blade, that's what it's all about. The magnet in his hand, however isn't very strong. It will hold the blade, but I wouldn't bash it against anything unless you want Mace to drop it.

Here's the second reason:


Great head sculpt. I had to hunt down a good paint job though because he tends to be painted walleyed.
This is as good as I could find after pawing through four or five of them. A little disappointing in the paint apps department.

Mace comes with a battledroid that he can supposedly knock over with a force projectile.
The problem: It's not a regular battledroid. It's split in half and it doesn't stand up well at all. Balancing it upright is a real chore This is about as good as I could get it.


He comes with two projectiles, the force-flavored lollypop shown here and a blue hairy C that unbalances him horribly.
The other downside to Mace is his preposed ability. He's actually got an elbow twist in addition to the standard Hasbro five, but it's not very useful at all. Here, take a look:


So here's the three main points.
The Good:
+Awesome sculpt.
+Metal Lightsaber handle
+Fairly unobtrusive action feature.

The Bad
-Battle Droid accessory sucks hard. Should have included a magnet in the waist.
-Useless joints.
-Magnet and sculpt of left hand precludes cool saber bashing play.

The Ugly
~Smells like someone puked in the package (probably the soft plastic skirt plasticizer stank)
~Shoddy paint Apps.

Overall, a decent toy. It could use some improvement in parts, but it does have some points that could make it worth picking up at around 5-6 bucks. Unfortunately, I paid ten, and it's really not worth that.

So, how u Rappin' Mace?

Mace is Rappin': Meh.

Absolute Worst=BLEAGH!
Pretty bad but not the worst= ugh.
Average=Meh.
Above average=Hmm!
Pretty good=Cool.
One of the best toys out there= Awesome!!)
