Lucky you. Singaporeans are cheapos who won't clear out their old stock to save their lives, so all I can find are the really over-produced Ep1 items. the ones I actually want; R2B1, Acsension gun Amidala, Celebration Nass, etc are no where to be found at low unwanted prices. The $10 retail for Ep2 items aren't helping either.

I am gonna try to get rid of all my Micromachine stuff this weekend. Need cash to burn.

Those were not that enjoyable, but I didn't find them that intrusive. What irks me the most about Ep1 is that it's narrative structure and devices are F$@%#ed up. From the spoilers I've heard so far Ep2 may fix those problems with better story-telling. I certainly hope so.

The worst review of a review on RTM said it was at worst "draggy". So were Harry Potter, LOTR and Spider-man. That didn't stop em. Draggy movies seem to be all the rage these days. Hell, the first hour of ANH was draggy.

All I had to go on for Ep1 were trailers, and I've found that trailers are often a really bad way to guage a film. Spidey and RE are 2 examples where the trailer gives off all the wrong signals.

I'm going into E2 with the knowledge that it CAN'T be worse than Ep1, which is good enough for me. The worst that could happen is that the plot and characterization comes across as dull, which is what sank the first movie. So it doesn't live up to the originals. Too bad. Lah dee dah. I don't care about Jar Jar or N'sync being in or out, nor about Baby Fett coz he's not that big a part in the grand scheme of things, so there can't be anything else that'll spoil it for me this time.

What can happen if it does get spoilt? I save money on a few figures while I wait for clearance. Suits me fine. :-)

Before the carnage starts. Looks like a good time to stay away from RTM. You know there's gonna be trouble. :-p
