I don't like Pat Lee's art. he's got obvious talent, but I don't like half his stuff.

I liked the Optimus picture I saw awhile back, mostly because the computer coloring made everything look really cool: prime's feet and shoulders had lights that looked like they were lit up. that was cool.

but i really don't like the horrible proportions on the Soundwave pic seen on the buzz yesterday: he just seemed too over the top. his chest didn't seem properly joined to his legs, which were wierd looking, and it bugged me.

nothing I hate more than a black and white book that doesn't have good contrast between characters/background. undiscernable chaos is bad art, no matter how well it's rendered.
color can often salvage bad b/w art, but not always.
