Picked up Adieu Galaxy Express 999, Jin-Roh and Bubblegum Crash last weekend and saw Metropolis on Friday. It was good, but it isn't without it's flaws. The CG and cel animation are both fantastic, but don't really look all that good together. The story is also fairly basic and lacks any real goals. Still, it's enjoyable, Tezuka's designs are reproduced faithfully (never realized before seeing this how heavily inspired by Tezuka the Rockman series is) and I love the soundtrack. I'm glad I saw it, and will buy it, just not as soon as I see it.
