As bad, I'd say, as those stupid ebay ones of figures in super-glued poses.

I've been having a hell of a sleepless week banging out my 100+ page thesis, but I've just sent it for binding (Friggin hardcover! The school is mad), so that's some weight off. I only had a chance to see CC6 today.

Some good stuff. Matt's Dr Who stuff is impressive enough that I couldn't figure out many of the bases. Looks like the best set this year. The G I Joe stuff wasn't too shabby either, if not in execution then in concept. Some other interesting bits here and there. Most of the DC stuff is just passe recipes that have been overdone by older customizers, so I wasn't really impressed with much tehre.

But the Superman Lives one was really lousy. I'd clock it as a "Z" for effort. It's second place only to really really really bad entry in the whole of CC history: the anime game heroes. Nice idea, but the guy just didn't have the skills yet to pull it off.

Someone should start running a REAL CC. Quality entries, plus a mixture of genres, like what Rh suggested a while back. Some 12", some heroes, some other stuff.

Oh well. Anyway, now that I'm free from the stupid thesis I'm itching for some custom work! Let's see if I can finish what I want to by CC7...
