Unless you KNOW the patterns for sewing a real boot, you're not gonna end up with something very nice. I tried it to make a German WWII boot for my custom Cobra Commander, and even tried making it around a generic boot. Giving up, I tried using the rubber sole as a base for another pattern. turned out to be a real mess at that scale. I finallu gave up and used botts from the '95 12" Han solo.
