Date Posted: 14:15:57 11/05/02 Tue November 5, 2002 Hello Wayne Fans Out There, I just got a wonderful note from Elnea saying that Ben Browder’s Fan Book had over 200 messages in it. I was amazed – completely amazed. It isn’t that Ben doesn’t deserve such accolades. Indeed, I would have thought that Farscape fans would have really turned out to give the actor a great bit of encouragement and also to have offered some condolences at the cancellation of the show. Haven’t all of us really enjoyed Farscape over the last few years. Haven’t all the cast become phantom members of our families? What really amazed me about Elnea’s letter was my own Fan Book experience this year. Bit of history: I did Lani Tupu’s book with CraisLover (Carla) two years ago and Wayne Pygram’s book last year. This year I am doing Wayne Pygram’s book with SunKrux (Cindi). Both years, I had the privilage of seeing some of the other fan books and they were fantastic, too. This year is different. I’m pretty sure that the Fan Books have been publicized a bit but perhaps, in the Watch Farscape frenzy, fans haven’t noticed the postings. Sun_Aeryn has been doing a great job but I think it is time for a full frontal assault. I have only five messages for Wayne Pygram so far and am more than a bit disappointed. All you have to do is write emails. Now what could be more simple? You have been writing them for two months to save Farscape. Now is the time to write a few fan letters. It is really easy and fun. Take a few minutes and write out your thoughts, thanks, and admiration for the folks that have brought you Farscape. Then email them to the people listed below. They love to show off their books and it lets them know that you, the fans, do care about them and their craft. So put fingers to keyboard and type away.
