I don't think they object to f*****g out of species, though, do they? They just practice really safe sex... Your comparison of Scorpie to Hitler is interesting, and certainly not without quite a few parallels. Hitler claimed the Jews were trying to dominate the world via controlling the banks and the world economy. Were they? Or did Hitler just use that as an excuse to unite Germany behind him? The truth is beyond my resources. Now, Scorpie thinks--no, he KNOWS--that the Scarrens are trying to dominate the universe. Are they really, or is it just that he hates them so much for the way he was raised that he THINKS they are? Has he deluded himself into thinking that the Scarrens are "conqueror-wanna-bes" as justification for his actions? Or does he think it because he knows them too well--he knows them for what they really are? Is Scorpie xenophobic? Does he hate strangers? Since he is half Scarren, could you count his hatred of Scarrens (whatever the motivation) as truly xenophobic? That reminds me of an incident IRL when I was in the Army, and a guy of Italian decent was reported for calling himself a "Wop." Isn't Scorpie's hatred more of an extended family thing, sorta like StarWars? He definately is a "genocidal maniac," I don't think I can argue with you there--that seems to be his focus in life. But, I don't think he is xenophobic, and I don't think he is anywhere as bad as the PK. And I strongly disagree that he is two-faced. He plays politics, yes. Everybody in the UT does if they want to stay alive. But, he doesn't conceal his goals, as a general rule. He actually appears to be an open book.
