Looks good to me...

Do you think he's our most highly touted recruit ever?

That's a hard question to answer. He might well be the best athlete we've recruited (as Eric has pointed out before). However at this point, based on some of the things I have read, I think his outside shooting is not real strong. Hopefully as he concentrates on hoops 12 months a year, instead of alternating with big-time football as he has in the past, his shooting will develop.

It is good to see that the recruits seem to be coming from stronger programs, who play against tougher opponents, than most recruits of the past. In addition to Strake Jesuit, Evans' Chaminade plays a VERY tough schedule, and Behan's Notre Dame program plays a pretty tough schedule as well. Based on what I've read, Behan will probably play mostly the 4, Evans the 3, and Tyree can play the 2 or 3 or maybe the 1 depending on the circumstances - although he is not a prototypical PG, that is what he often plays at Strake Jesuit in Houston.

I would love to groom Tyree as a 6'4" PG to learn one year under Badmus and then start. Further, he could be a better version of Badmus defensively. Best Defender at the 5-Star Camp......Not required to be a jump shooting wizard either.

That's a nice thought. It wouldn't be his shooting that would hold him back, just whether he could handle the ball well enough against pressure and run the offense properly. As far as future PG's go, Griffin has done a good job at that spot when necessary and the jury is still out on Justin Castleberry, who entered the program with good credentials and got some good press from Flannery in pre-season.
