Rebounds tell a huge part of this story.. BU 47 - Navy 30.

BU Fan - good point about the nucleus for next year. Seeing Brown, Vegotsky and Griffin carry this team today certainly bodes well for the future.

I don't think hoisting 28 threes was exactly the way they drew it up before the game - but it worked out in the end.

Go check out the very nice quote by the Navy coach about the Bucknell "team" in Hooptime.

Saw the game at Alumni Hall today ... officiating in the 1st half was atrocious! Flannery got a well-deserved technical for arguing a BS (one of many) calls. However, the Bison clearly pulled away from Navy 7 minutes or so into the 1st Half.

I completely agree with BUFan -- Vegotsky was impressive. Absolutely on fire. In the 2nd half, Flannery tooled around with a great lineup of McNaughton, Bettencourt, Vegotsky, Badmus, and Lee. Mastropaolo was ineffective.

Bettencourt was better than his stats lead one to believe and I was also impressed with the guts and effort of Griffin. He plays his heart out on the hardwood. I swear I was there, but I am not sure why Tarik didn't get the minutes once McNaughton was benched after the first two minutes of the game.

All in all, ugly start of the game, but the "team" in teamwork was on display and was great to witness.
