I don't know the exact rules but almost all of the home games go to the conferences that were involved with ESPN in starting the bracketbuster, i.e the MAC, OVC, MVC, MAAC, Horizon, WAC, Big West, and Colonial. Almost all of the teams from these conferences get in, and in total these teams get more home games than road games. Some of the conferences that came in the second year now get limited home games so the Bison might get one next year.

One significant plus for the Bison is that whoever they play next month in the Bracketbuster is required to come to Lewisburg next year to play a return game. With no Villanova/St Joes on next year's home schedule, this will likely be the top non-PL home game.
