Subject: Prospective new bunny owner

Hi I have been lurking here and on Acme's board and have a few questions. I am new to Bunnies and have an active household. I am getting a rabbit for my little boy to show. At the moment I am torn between a mini Rex and a Mini Lop. Actually if the Velveteen Lop had been recognized I'd get that. Here are my questions. 1) Can you show a rabbit that has been altered? 2) I have dogs, should I set the rabbit's cage in a seperate room and if so for how long? 3) How do you get rabbit's born and raised outside used to household noises like vacumn cleaners and such? 4) lastly should I put a house in the bunny's cage or will that slow down it's socialization. Anyone who'd like to share may also email me . I'm looking forward to learning
