Josie my two do that too! But I think they like to do it- like they do it on purpose. Slipping and sliding all over their linoleum floor. They also slide their front paws up and take treats and then slide back. But what I've been doing (they dont' want to come out lately) is I sit really close to their cage and shake their raisin box and say "Treats. Come on babies" and I won't give it to them unless they come over to me...then they get the raisin and they run back into the cage or they'll step up on my knees and beg me for some more! I don't know why, but lately they've been enjoying their cage more than coming out. Before they were always trying to be out. But now I open the cage and they run around maybe 10 minutes and that's it... they go back into their cage. Chris said I made their cage "too damn cool with 4 levels to play on" and they don't need to come out of their cage...maybe he's right.
