I think I wrote you (or maybe to somebody else) that it is not too good to bath a bunny. Well, maybe I shoudn't talk since I don't have a bunny yet, but I wrote this because I have read it many times. The way you do it seem quite safe, but I would think it would be better to find another solution. One reason why it might not be good to wet your bunny might be the same as for cats: people wash cats and these cats are fine, but water (not to say soap) destroys their natural oils on their fur and after they can't clean themselves as well, so there you go, you need to wash the cat more and more often. Their fur also becomes more rough and the skin dry. I never ever washed my cat and she is 14 years old, very clean even if she goes outside all the time and is one of the only cats I know who has the most soft furr, like kitties. I only clean with my finger her eyes, and sometimes one of her ears because it is crooked and she can't do it well herself. Brushing and combing is good. I would think that maybe if you brush or comb the dirt off your rabbit before it gets too bad, he could clean the rest by himself? it could improve. Maybe you could also think about changing the litter to one that absorbs more and don't stick to your bunny? good luck :)
