Subject: Bathing bunny bad??

Someone mentioned in a reply about my baby lying in his litter box that it's not a god idea to bathe the bunny.

First I wanted to clear up how I bathe the bunny. I run a small pool of warm water in the bathtub (not even covering the entire bottom), let him splash around, pour a little of that water on his body NEVER his head, rub him down then collect him in a big fluffy towel to dry a little then let him run around in a room which is warm, not a/c cold to continue drying off.

Second I wanted to ask if this is a good or bad idea? With a why or why not? I've done it for years with the oldest and he's always been healthy since I'm careful to be sure he doesn't get cold while wet. If this is a bad idea, what alternatives do I have to getting the caked on ick off his feet and occassionally body from the litter box?

Thanks for your help!!
KarenS.
