"165 Million plus Interest" starts on the speakers. The fans go immediately to their feet, seeing the promo video for the Phenomenal AJ Styles. Styles himself steps out and onto the ramp with his hood covering the top of his head. AJ steps from one side to the next, then stalks down to the ring with a purpose.








your time is up... my time is now...
You Can't See Me... MY TIME IS NOW!







The crowd then EXPLODES as the United States Champion JOHN CENA storms out from the back! He stops at the top of the stage and holds the US belt above his head to a roar from the crowd before making his way down to the ring. Once inside, he walks right past Styles and goes from side to side, holding the belt up for all to see!


AJ removes his hood and vest, tossing it to a ringside attendant before moving to stand in the center of the ring, standing directly in front of Cena's path to the other turnbuckles. John goes to go to one side, but is stopped by AJ. He goes for the other side, and he's stopped again. He then holds a finger up, hands the belt off to the ref, pulls his shirt up over his head to a pop from the crowd and then tosses it into AJ's face! Cena then waves his hand in front of his face and calls Styles on, calling for the bell himself!

Styles throws the shirt to the side before following with a HARD chop to Cena's chest. He slaps his own chest asking for a receipt. Cena rubs his chest, and then delivers a right cross that floors AJ instead! Styles bounces up to his feet, as Cena shoves him into the ropes, Irish whipping him off. AJ comes on a return, and ducks under a running Cena clothesline. Cena volleys on the other end and gets leapfrogged by the Phenomenal One. Styles waits him on the return and goes for a hip toss that Cena blocks and returns with a seated one of his own, tossing Styles halfway across the ring with it!

John then runs him over with a series of lariats before pulling him back up and leaning him against the ropes. He fires AJ across and catches him on the return with a military press. The crowd then makes some noise as he walks around the ring with him, playing to the crowd, asking what side he should throw him over! Styles adjusts in the air, before sliding behind Cena. AJ lands on his feet, and spins into a rolling elbow across the Franchise's jaw! This shot sends Cena crashing through the middle ropes and to the floor, landing on his feet. He stumbles back onto the ramp with his back to the ring, rubbing his jaw and shakes his head, turning back towards the ring. AJ takes the second's chance to run into the opposite side, going airborne and clearing the top rope with a corkscrew hilo, barreling right into Cena on the outside!

AJ gets slowly to his feet, yanking Cena up by the shorts and shoves him into the ring divider. Styles measures him and gives a scintillating chop across his chest! AJ pauses, shaking his own hand out from the impact and delivers another! John drops down to a knee, and AJ hammers him on the back of the head. Cena then releases a war scream and comes up full of fire, ramming Styles into the ring apron three consecutive times before throwing a series of right hands, the last one taking AJ right off his feet and back into the ring! Styles starts to get to his feet, but Cena goes right onto the assault, shoulder tackling him to the canvas and going into ground and pound mode, cracking AJ across the head with punches! Styles tries to cover up, but Cena keeps with the assault, yanking the Phenomenal one up and into a bent position. Cena backs up and comes rushing forward with for a Throwback neck breaker, but AJ DRILLS him with a spinning front kick to the head!


Marissa: "John Cena is all emotion, predictable emotion, and AJ Styles has done his homework."


Styles moves his way to his feet, swinging his arms right, then left, and dropping a tornado elbow across Cena's chest! He yanks him up to his feet and shoves him into the ropes, tossing him off the other end and catching him in a fireman's carry on the way back. AJ steps out a bit, then falls backwards, shoving Cena off his shoulders and rib first onto his knees! The crowd gasps as Cena rebounds off the knees and onto the mat, kicking his feet on the mat and rolling around in pain! AJ then rolls out from under the impact zone and grabs hold of Cena's legs. He measures him and then hot shots him across the ring and into the top turnbuckle! Cena bounces chin first out of the corner and is caught in a HARD German Suplex from Styles, who arches his back on the landing and waits for the count, but Cena rolls his shoulder free at two!

AJ lets go of the German, shaking his head out at Cena's ability to survive. He stretches him out on the mat, before giving a standing shooting star press that Cena clenches up on at the last moment, letting Styles hit all knee! AJ crashes hard as Cena keeps him there, before leg pressing him off and away! John clenches his fists and goes right back to his feet, drilling AJ with a few right hands and then body slams him to the mat. John then comes off the ropes with a low dropkick, catching AJ in the ribs and sends him rolling under the ropes. Cena reaches over them, pulling AJ up and receives a right hand for his troubles. Styles then tries to suplex him over the ropes and to the floor, but Cena holds firm. John then steps onto the middle ropes and takes AJ over with a suplex, jamming him into the mat! Cena quickly scrambles for the cover, holding him down for a one, two, TWO only as Styles kicks out!

Cena now pulls AJ to his feet, booting him in the gut and takes him over with a back suplex turned into a sitout slam, covering for another two-count. The Champ is feeling it now as he waits him up for the FU, hoisting him onto his shoulders! AJ kicks his feet wildly and floats over and goes to shove him into the ropes, but Cena reverses. AJ goes rushing towards the ropes and leaps onto the second one, springing off and goes for a flipping reverse DDT, but Cena rotates his body and catches him on his shoulders! As he goes for the FU, AJ flips off his shoulders and leaps high with a standing enzaguri, almost taking his head off!

Styles stays on his knees after this one, before signaling to the crowd that this is IT! He steps around Cena's shoulders and rotates him into position, yanking up on his midsection and trying for the Styles Clash! Cena gets pulled up halfway before he starts kicking his legs and shoves AJ out of the setup! Styles comes racing back at him and crashes a flying forearm into his head! Styles pulls him into the corner now and steps outside of the ring, catching his breath and trying to clear his head. AJ then slowly starts climbing to the top rope, measuring Cena every step of the way. Styles comes rocketing off of the top with a Shooting Star Press that catches NOTHING but the canvas! AJ bounces about a foot in the air from the impact and lays across the mat, almost dead from the miss!

The crowd then begins to stomp their feet as Cena goes to his feet, firing AJ across and drops him with a round of clotheslines. He then PUMPS UP THE KICKS as Styles tries to pull himself up and comes off the ropes, jamming him into the mat with the Throwback flipping neck breaker! John then goes to his feet and waves his hand in front of AJ's face as the crowd screams out "YOU CAN'T SEE ME!" John then comes off the ropes, stops, does the AJ arms above his head and spin before dropping the 5 Knuckle Shuffle!

John now stalks behind Styles, revving up the crowd and waiting for him to stand! Styles jolts up from the shuffle, trying to uncross his eyes in front of Cena. Cena goes low, lifting him onto his shoulders and goes for the FU! AJ feels himself aloft and shoots his knee up, cracking it right into Cena's nose! As he drops him down, Styles cradles his head from behind and drops straight out with a rolling face buster! Styles holds him up by the chin and hits a flipping dropkick, sending the Doctor to the mat! AJ then backs up and comes rushing forward with a senton that lands true across his chest! He drops down and yanks back on the leg, getting a 1....2...ONLY a 2 as Cena throws his arm out!

The crowd gets behind the champ, chanting "LET'S GO CENA!" repeatedly as he tries to pull himself together. Styles starts delivering knees to his neck and head, turning Cena around and rushing forward with another one right to the bridge of his nose! John goes stumbling back into a corner, being held up by it. Styles backs up, measures him and then comes flying forward with a bodysplash attempt in the corner! Cena ducks him and backdrops him over the top rope and onto the apron! AJ sets his feet and flips back over, grabbing Cena's head on the way back and going for an inverted DDT! John spins with the move and drops AJ crotch first across the top rope. He then fires a fist to his head and climbs up after him, prepping him for a superplex, but Styles battles out of it. John now teeters back and forth on the middle ropes, holding on with one hand as AJ rocks him with fists to the head. Just as it looks like Cena is going to fall to the mat, he drills AJ with a forearm shot to the ribs and hoists him onto his shoulders, taking a step off of the top and DRIVES him into the mat with the FU from the top! John crawls over, hooking the leg and pins as the crowd counts alone with the ONE, TWO, THREE!


“The Time is Now” blasts over the speakers as John Cena collects his US Championship, clutching it to his chest before climbing the ropes, flashing it to the crowd!


Jax: “Now all John Cena has to do is sit, wait, and pray that Jesse Hart comes out of this tonight to embark on the Highway to Hell for the World Championship!”
