Who That Jumpin’ Out The Sky?

R-E-Y MYSTERIO! HERE WE GO!






The crowd pops as the high-flying Rey Mysterio comes shooting out from the ramp, landing in a crouched position and pops up to his feet, playing to the crowd!









Moments later, Eddie Guerrero struts out behind Mysterio, joining him at the top of the ramp to a pop from the crowd! They pound fists before making their way down the ramp and to the ring, both men going to opposite corners and playing to the crowd!












“World’s Greatest” plays over the speakers, and there appears the NEW Tag Team Champions, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin! Haas comes bouncing out onto the top of the ramp, and Shelton comes out holding his championship high above his head, pumping up the crowd! Once in the ring, they stand across from Eddie and Rey, moving in and shaking both of their hands before handing the championships off to referee Charlie Robinson, who then calls for the bell, and the match is on!


Haas and Mysterio start this one off, circling one another. They lock-up, and Rey quickly goes behind him with a waist lock, but Charlie splits his hands apart and takes him over with a headlock takedown. Rey nips out of it and comes off the ropes, leaping over Haas and springs off the ropes, landing butt first on Charlie’s shoulders and goes for a victory roll, but Charlie holds on, so Mysterio swings and turns it into a hurricanrana for a close two count!

Charlie rolls out of it, and Rey meets him with numerous right hands, working him back into the ropes. Haas reverses the Irish whip and goes for a lariat, but Rey ducks low and comes off with a cross body, but Haas catches him and tosses him with a fallaway slam!

However, Rey lands on his feet and makes the blind tag in to Guerrero and then charges forward, clipping Charlie’s leg. Eddie then springs himself into the ring with a rolling senton across Haas’ chest, hooking the leg and going for the pin, but Haas is out at two!

Charlie then quickly swings around Eddie with a German, and then makes the tag into Benjamin, popping the crowd! Shelton comes into the ring from over the top rope, going right on Guerrero with right forearms and shoves him into a corner, whipping him across. Shelton then charges in after him with a body splash, but Eddie moves out of the way. However, Shelton lands feet first on the top rope and comes off with a twisting cross body, taking Guerrero down for a two count!

Right back on their feet, Eddie jams a thumb into Benjamin’s eye and takes him over with a snap suplex, popping his hips and rolls through, taking him over with a second! Eddie then goes for a third, but Shelton floats over and lands on his feet, but Eddie DRILLS him between the legs with a mule kick!! Eddie then takes him high into the air with a vertical suplex, and then DRIVES him down with a Brainbuster for the one, two, TWO!

Charlie rushes in to break up the count, and save the championships! However, Mysterio then comes shooting into the ring from the top rope, sending Haas flying to the outside with a missile dropkick! Eddie then shimmies from side to side, going up to the top rope, plays to the crowd and then comes off with a Frog Splash, right across Benjamin’s knees!!

The crowd “Ooooh’s” as Eddie rolls to his knees, having a hard time breathing near the ropes. Shelton crawls in after him, choking Eddie throat first across the middle ropes. The crowd then pops as Mysterio rolls back into the ring and rushes towards then, swinging through the ropes with the 6-1-9!! However, Shelton lifts Eddie’s head up and Guerrero takes the full blunt of the 6-1-9!! Benjamin quickly rolls backwards, bridging over Guerrero for the pin as Haas pulls Mysterio out of the ring, and Robinson drops to count the one, two, THREE!


“World’s Greatest” sounds over the speakers as Haas and Benjamin celebrate their first successful title defense on their way to the back, leaving Guerrero behind questioning Mysterio’s stray 6-1-9!

Rey apologizes repeatedly, but out of frustration, Eddie gives him a two handed shove to the ass! The crowd “Oooooh’s” as Rey sits up, staring up Eddie in shock. Eddie pulls at his hair before giving Rey his hand, helping him up to his feet and apologizes himself as we go to a commercial break.
