WORD LIFE!






The crowd explodes as “Basic Thuganomics” rapes the speakers, and moments later, out comes John Cena, bouncing out onto the top of the stage now sporting a number 00 Bret Hart Calgary Hitmen jersey! He pumps the “Word Life” sign above his head on his way down to the ring, stepping inside and plays to the crowd, taking the steel chain from around his neck and wraps it around his fist, raising it above his head to a pop from the crowd!



A few moments later, the opening drumming to Dope’s “Debonaire” begins to pound over the sound system, and a few moments after that, as the tempo of the song increases, pyros blare up all around the entranceway, and from out of the smoke appears the World Champion, Jesse Hart!









The Champ steps out with the belt draped casually over his shoulder, making his way down to the ring as his hometown fans shower him with boos. Once at ringside, he walks up the ring steps and stands on the apron, smirking in at Cena before entering the ring for this non-title match. He climbs a corner and slowly raises the championship above his head with one hand, and flips the crowd off with the other!


Hart climbs down and meets Cena in the middle of the ring, holding the belt up, telling him that this is as close to it as he’s ever going to get to it. The Doctor then waves his hand in front of his face, and then removes four fingers, leaving only his middle one right in front of Jesse’s nose. Hart’s smirk fades as he goes to hand the belt over, but then turns on a dime with a belt shot! However, Cena ducks his charge as Chioda calls for the bell and meets Jesse with a boot to the mid section, and then plants him head first into the belt with a DDT for a one, two, TWO count!

The crowd gasps as Cena just came within an eyelash of beating the champion in record time in this non-title match! Jesse rebounds back up to his feet, stumbling back first into a corner, with Cena right on him, blasting him with right hands! John then fires him across, and Jesse comes rebounding out of the corner, wincing in pain before John fires him SO hard again this time that Jesse goes rushing sternum first into the corner, shaking the ring to its core as he comes stumbling out backwards into a schoolboy for another VERY close two count!

The crowd is firmly behind Cena as he bolts up to his feet, calling Hart on and meets him with a right hand once he stands. Cena then leans the champion against the ropes and goes to fire him across, but Hart reverses the Irish whip. John then comes barreling in off the ropes with a STIFF shoulder block, dropping Jesse straight to his back! Jesse rebounds back up and John meets him with a kick to the gut, followed up by a body slam. Cena then does the robot down to his shoes, PUMPING UP THE KICKS before going up to the top rope to a ROAR from the crowd! However, Jesse bolts up and lunges into the ropes, shaking them and crotching Cena up top!

Hart then grabs John by the head and cradles it, taking him off the top rope with a DDT into the mat! The crowd cringes as John lands with his full body weight onto his head, flattening out on the mat, motionless! Jesse rolls away from Cena, sitting up and clearing his head, looking over his shoulder to make sure that Cena’s neck isn’t broken, and then goes for the cover, getting a VERY close two count of his own!

Jesse pulls himself up as John struggles down on the mat, shaking his head out as the tide has changed from that one move. Hart pulls John up and over with a snap suplex, floating over and pins his shoulders down for another two count. Jesse then mounts Cena, balling his hand up into a fist and lifts Cena’s head up with his other, drilling him with repeated closed fists! After a full five count, Chioda grabs Jesse’s arm from behind to stop the assault, and Hart shoves the referee to his ass for his troubles!

Chioda warns Hart from his ass, but Jesse then warns Chioda, telling him to shut “T’fuck up before you end up in the unemployment line!” Hart then turns back to Cena, and John comes up with a forearm to the gut from his knees, followed up by a second, and then a low blow! Chioda pretends to not have seen the illegal blow as Hart’s knees knock together and he stumbles around the ring, hunched over. Cena then comes charging in off the ropes from behind, DRIVING Jesse face first into the mat with the Throwback flipping neck breaker! John then dives onto the champion for the cover, getting a VERY quick one, two, and TWO count!

The crowd begins to chant “CENA! CENA!” as John meets Hart on his feet, lifting him for the FU! Jesse floats over, however, sets his feet and goes for the Hart Stomp, but John catches his foot and swings him around, DRILLING him with a falling lariat as he spun back towards him, and covers for another two count! Jesse rolls free and to the ropes, pulling himself up and meets Cena with a knee lift as he followed him in, and then shoves him into the corner, jamming his forearms into his throat, keeping him trapped in there as he catches his breath. Jesse then pulls back and LACES a STIFF right hand to Cena’s jaw, rocking his head back, and Cena is almost knocked out on his feet!

Jesse then pulls John out of the corner, lifting and flipping him upside down for the Owen Driver, giving the fans the thumbs down, but John begins to kick his legs wildly, floating over and lifting Jesse onto his shoulders, and then JAMS him into the mat with the FU!! The crowd ROARS as Cena lays his back across Hart’s chest, pulling up on the near leg for the one, two THREE!


No! Jesse’s far leg is draped across the bottom rope, and Chioda waves the pinfall off even though “Basic Thuganomics” tears over the speakers! Cena, as well as the Calgary fans, are LIVID! The music is then stopped and Cena is right back on Hart, going to fire him across, but Jesse reverses the Irish whip and catches Cena with a HUGE Spine Buster!! Hart then follows it up by stepping through and turns the Doctor over into the SHARPSHOOTER!!

The fans BOOM with boos as Jesse sits back in it, nodding his head as Cena is trapped in the middle of the ring, screaming out loudly in pain! The camera then does a close-up on Cena’s face as pain is etched across it. He pushes up on his forearms, his eyes going wide and a look of determination spreading across his face. He then lifts a hand up on the close-up and waves it in front of his face, yelling out that “HE CAN’T SEE ME!” and then begins to scrape and crawl his way towards the ropes, finally latching onto the bottom one as Jesse is in complete disbelief, shaking his head no, refusing to release the hold!

Hart finally lets him go and looks down at Cena in shock that he was able to get to the ropes. He then begins to put the boots to him, pulling him up from behind by his waist band and rams a forearm to his lower back, starting to talk some serious trash, but Cena shrugs it off, walking away from Hart, shaking his head as the crowd chants…


“LET’S GO CENA! LET’S GO CENA!”


John then turns on a dime and blocks a right hand, connecting with one of his own, followed up by another, and then another, building some momentum as he fires him across, but Jesse comes off the ropes with a flying forearm, taking Cena down to the mat and then nips up to his feet to a THUNDEROUS amount of boos from the fans! Jesse then walks over to the corner, springing up to the top rope and insults the fans by holding up the Hart Foundation sign! However, Cena returns the favour from before and shakes the ropes, crotching the champion! John then climbs the ropes and takes Hart off of the very top with a superplex, and the crowd goes WILD! Cena crawls over to the champion, hooking the leg, getting the one, two, TWO!

Jesse rolls his shoulder out at the last possible second, saving the match! Cena gets up to his feet, balling his fists up, ready to put this one away as Jesse stumbles up and over towards him. John kicks him in the gut and pulls him by the arm, going for the FU, but Jesse twists his arm and goes around him, pulling him into a knee lift and hooks hi head, going for a DDT, but John spins free and around, lifting Jesse onto his shoulders and DRIVES him into the mat with the second FU of the night! This time, Cena pulls back on both legs, getting the one, two, THRE— NO! Chris Benoit pulls Chioda out of the ring, saving Hart!












Benoit and Chioda argue on the outside, and Cena is FURIOUS! He charges towards Benoit, dropping with a baseball slide, sending Benoit crashing into the barricade! Cena then leans over the ropes, waving his hand in front of his face, screaming at Benoit! Chris pulls himself up, red faced as he goes to attack the ring, but he’s stopped by…













… KURT ANGLE, who rushes down and grabs Benoit from behind, drilling him with right hands, bringing the crowd to their feet!


Back in the ring, Cena turns back to Hart, lifting him up for another FU, but Jesse floats over and lifts Cena for an F5! As he swings Cena, John lands on his feet, but Jesse reacts quickly and DRILLS him with the Hart Stomp! Hart then dives onto him, hooking both legs, and the tights, and Chioda drops down, counting the one, two, and THREE count!



“Debonaire” rips over the speakers, and the fans BOOM with boos as Jesse Hart is victorious! Hart pulls himself up, throwing both arms above his head in celebration!


Back on the outside, Angle tosses Benoit into the ring steps and slides in behind Hart, standing behind him, waiting for him to turn around. As soon as he does so, Kurt laces a right hand across his jaw, followed up by a second, and then a third!

As Angle works Hart over, Benoit slides back into the ring, but Cena cuts him off at the path with a body tackle and begins to hammer away on him! On the other side of the ring, Jesse reverses the whip, but Kurt holds on, pulling the champion into an Olympic Slam! Jesse floats over, however, landing on his feet and drops down to the mat, rolling out of the ring and getting the hell out of dodge!

Benoit rolls away from Cena’s attack and to the floor, meeting up with Jesse on the outside as they retreat to the back, leaving Kurt Angle and John Cena behind in the ring, calling them back on! Hart points into the ring at Angle, yelling out that "YOUR ASS IS MINE, MUTHER FUCKER! YOUR ASS IS MINE!" as Smackdown! goes off the air!
