The fans begin to cheer as they instantly recognize the opening guitar riff to “You Think I Ain’t Worth a Dollar, But I Feel Like a Millionaire” by the Queens of the Stone Age.
After the song has blown up, the number one contender to the UCW Women’s World Championship steps out at the top of the ramp, her jaw set and looking ready for a fight. She wastes no time and heads down the ramp, hopping up onto the apron and climbing through the ropes. She immediately turns around and stares at the ring entrance, awaiting her opponent as she pulls at her elbow pads, ready to finally prove to Lauren once and for all what Lauren has been denying for months.

After several moments, the Women’s Champion finally shows herself at the top of the ramp, the championship belt around her waist. She stares hard into the ring at Athene as the crowd boos loudly, and Athene instantly starts quickly pacing back and forth inside the ring, not wanting to wait any longer to beat the crap out of Lauren, though never tearing her eyes from the Champ. Lauren takes her time coming down the ramp, soaking in the reaction from the crowd, though her face is expressionless, for once void of the confidence it usually wears. Lauren doesn’t look nervous either, however, but ready to finally face Athene.
Lauren climbs the steps slowly, but stops as Athene darts forward. Lauren turns to the ref, pointing to Athene and telling him to keep Athene back while she enters the ring. The ref turns back and tells Athene to do so, and Athene raises her hands, obliging Lauren, but glaring right at her. Lauren enters the ring, unstrapping her belt and raising it proudly as her music finally cuts out, and the ref takes the belt from her.
As the bell sounds, the crowd is right into this one. Lauren and Athene circle one another, with Athene calling Lauren in for a lock-up. Lauren is apprehensive, however, as she takes her time, feinting in for one but then moves back, simply annoying the challenger. Athene becomes more vocal, calling Lauren on, and Lauren finally moves in, locking up, just to be tossed down to her back immediately!
Athene nods her head as Lauren goes rolling backwards into a corner, glaring up at Athene from her knees, rubbing the back of her head. Lauren gets back to her feet and they circle once more, locking up again, and this time they go in circles before Lauren ends up back first in the corner. The ref calls for a clean break, and Athene obliges; however, Lauren does not as she leans forward, slapping Athene directly across the cheek to “ooooh’s” from the crowd!
Athene’s eyes go wide in anger as she lunges forward, grabbing Lauren by the hair, but Lauren steps halfway out of the ring, and the ref is forced to get between the two, pulling Athene away from the champion! Athene’s temper is ready to explode as she backs away, and Lauren looks over at her with a smirk, knowing that she’s getting under her skin. They circle for a third time, and just before locking up, Lauren drops down to the mat and rolls to the outside, waving Athene off to a round of boos from the fans.
Athene has now had enough and she darts out after Lauren, grabbing two fists full of her hair and tosses her right back into the ring! Lauren rolls in on her knees and holds both of her hands out in front of her, calling for a time-out, but Athene responds with a kick to the chest! The champion goes rolling into a corner, and Athene is right on her, gripping her hair with one hand, and rams a closed fist to her forehead with the other! The crowd cheers Athene on with each blow before she fires Lauren across to the other side, chasing in after her and crunches her into the corner with a lariat! As Lauren stumbles out of the corner, Athene lifts her up over her head with a military press! Lauren’s eyes go wide as she’s body slammed DEEP into the mat, and Athene follows it up by coming off the ropes with a rolling elbow to the chest, hooking the leg for the first cover of the match, getting a two count!
Lauren rolls away and into the ropes with Athene right on her, and she uses her cunningness to jam a thumb into the eyes of the challenger! Lauren then shoves Athene back first into the corner and levels her with a forearm to the back of the neck, followed up by a LOUD chop! Athene straightens out from that one and clutches her chest, allowing the time needed for Lauren to wrap her arms around her and take her out of the corner with a Steiner spinning belly-to-belly suplex!
Lauren grins at her accomplishment, but the grin soon fades as Athene rolls right up to her knees, rubbing her lower back, but pulling herself up immediately. Lauren is forced to not waste any more time and she lunges at her, grabbing Athene by the hair and tosses her violently down to the mat, and then follows it up by placing stiff boots to her. Lauren then cradles Athene’s head, pulling her into a vicious looking side headlock, really pulling back on it with all that she can, twisting Athene’s spine!
Athene battles up to her knees and drills Lauren with a few elbows to the mid section. The challenger then goes to rush the ropes, but Lauren reaches forward, grabbing her by the hair and pulls her head first into the mat to a round of boos from the fans! Lauren drops right down again, this time into a front face lock, trying to choke Athene out! Athene battles back up to her feet again, but Lauren towers over her, applying as much pressure as she can; however, Athene uses her leg strength and will-power alone to take Lauren over with a Northern Lights suplex, bridging for a two count!
The sudden move has shocked the champion, and she slowly pulls herself up, moving back over towards the challenger. Athene pulls herself up as well, immediately connecting with a right hand to Lauren, followed up by a second, leaning her into the ropes. Lauren reverses the Irish whip, but Athene reverses the reverse, whipping Lauren into the ropes and catches her with a tilt-a-whirl slam as she returned, covering for another two count!
Lauren rolls away from Athene, and as Athene follows, she meets her with a boot to the mid section. Lauren cradles her head and attempts to suplex her OVER the top rope and to the floor, but Athene holds still, reversing the suplex, but rather then take her back vertically, Athene drops Lauren gut first across the top rope! As Lauren dangles on the ropes, Athene takes a running start and takes her off the apron with a shoulder block, sending Lauren directly into the barricade to a pop from the crowd!
Athene gets pumped up in the ring, following Lauren to the outside and pulls her up, dragging her around ringside by the hair and hooks her head, going for a suplex onto the steel ramp! However, this time it’s Lauren who counters, and she takes Athene over with a vertical suplex, and Athene’s legs ring off of the ring steps!
Athene immediately SCREAMS out loudly, clutching her leg in a tremendous amount of pain! Lauren looks back in shock, not having meant to do that, but then grins, seeing her opportunity. She doesn’t hesitate to go right after Athene, rolling her into the ring and following her in. She measures her calf and gives it a nice hard STOMP, sending jolts of pain throughout the challenger’s body! Athene crawls towards the ropes, leaning her chest on the middle one, cringing in pain. Lauren once again seizes the opportunity and wraps the middle and top ropes around Athene’s head, choking the life out of her, now going after her neck!
The official gives a five count, but Lauren refuses to release it, threatening the ref to DQ her! The ref, not wanting to cost Athene the title by DQ, decides to let it slide, but continues to force the break. Lauren finally breaks the hold and drags Athene to her feet, jamming her into the mat with a standing neck breaker! Lauren grins wickedly as Athene lays prone on her stomach, gripping the back of her head. Lauren then steps over the challenger, pulling her up and into the Steiner Recliner!
Athene screams out in pain as Lauren pulls back on her neck, yelling at the challenger to just give it up! Athene refuses to and begins to battle back, getting to her knees, and then to her feet, with Lauren still on her back! Athene then rushes backwards, driving Lauren back first into the corner! Athene falls forward to her knees, but as soon as Lauren rebounds out of the corner, Athene takes her down with a rolling leg lock, locking in the Maple Leaf!
The crowd begins to cheer wildly as Athene sits back in it, and Lauren screams out in pain! Lauren begins to crabwalk forward, finally reaching the ropes! Athene releases the hold and falls forward, rubbing her neck, and taking a moment to recover. Both women make it back to their feet, and Lauren comes forward with a knee to the mid section. She then hooks Athene’s head, turning her around and goes for the TKO, but Athene counters it into a reverse DDT, driving Lauren into the mat!
Athene now rolls beneath the ropes and out onto the ring apron, making her way up the ropes. Lauren pulls herself up and comes forward, grabbing Athene’s legs and crotching her up top! Lauren then climbs up herself, setting up for a superplex, but Athene battles back, shoving Lauren off the top rope and back first into the mat! Athene now sets her feet on the top and measures Lauren, and then to a pop from the crowd, takes off with the 450, but she lands directly across Lauren’s knees!
The crowd gasps as Athene bunches up into a ball after the impact, the air being driven right out of her body! Lauren is the first to pull herself up, and she stalks behind the challenger. As soon as Athene surprisingly pulls herself up, Lauren DRIVES her into her knee with the TKO, seemingly ending this match! Lauren raises one arm above her head in victory as she crawls over to make the count, laying her back across Athene’s chest for the one, two, TWO!
The crowd goes WILD as Athene rolls her shoulder out at the two count! Lauren’s eyes go wide as she is in complete SHOCK! She can’t believe that Athene kicked out, and she lets the ref know it! She then cradles Athene’s head this time, but once again, Athene rolls out at two! As Lauren remains seated, arguing with the official, Athene reaches up and hooks both of Lauren’s arms, taking her over with a cradle for a very close two count!
Lauren rolls through and right to her feet, meeting Athene with a knee to the head. As Athene sits on her knees, Lauren drills her with a boot to the mouth, but Athene refuses to be knocked down to her back! Lauren looks down at Athene in complete shock, wondering just what in the hell it’s going to take to keep her down! Athene looks up at Lauren, waving her on! Lauren stares down at the challenger, and then she angrily comes forward with a right hand, but Athene blocks it and rams a forearm into the champion’s mid section!
Athene now battles back to her feet, working Lauren back with right hands to the mouth. Lauren reverses the Irish whip and spins around, going for another TKO, but Athene counters it into a Full Nelson slam, JAMMING the champion into the mat for a close two count!
Now it’s Athene’s turn to wonder, but she doesn’t waste much time, pulling Lauren up and into a pile driver. Lauren kicks her feet wildly, trying to escape, but Athene is still able to SPIKE her head first into the mat! Athene now rolls Lauren over, hooking the leg, sure of the one, two, TWO! Lauren kicks out to the shock of the arena!
Athene now looks down at Lauren in complete shock, sitting on her knees and thinking of her next move. She now pulls the champion’s half dead body up, and hoists her up for the Owen Driver! However, just before she can put her into the mat, Lauren’s legs begin to flail wildly, and she floats over, reversing it! Lauren struggles to keep the larger Athene up, and it allows for Athene to reverse the reverse, and then drive Lauren head first into the mat with the inverted Tombstone piledriver! Athene now cradles Lauren’s head and hooks her leg as the official counts the one, two, and three!!
“Millionaire” blasts over the speakers as Lilian Garcia announces Athene as the NEEEEEEEEEEEEW Women’s World Champion!
The crowd erupts as the ref hands Athene her Women’s World Championship belt! Athene holds it high, proudly, the ref raising her free hand. After a few moments, Athene drops to the mat, rolling out of the ring, and resting on the apron a moment. She then heads up the ramp, stopping at the top to raise the belt one more time. Lauren comes to on the mat, looking up at Athene on the top of the ramp, looking like she doesn’t fully grasp what has just happened. After a few moments, Lauren shakes her head out, then stares up at Athene in shock, her eyes wide. Athene grins down to Lauren, pointing to the belt and mouthing the word, “MINE”. Lauren pulls herself up on the bottom rope, scrunching her face up as tears form in her eyes. She shakes her head repeatedly, sitting at the ropes, refusing to believe what has happened. Athene only grins, before disappearing backstage, leaving Lauren in her misery, a now former champion.
