“La Résistance” plays over the PA, signaling the arrival of the now former Tag Team Champions, accompanied to the ring by Marie-Claude, Les Séparatistes! Sylvain Grenier looks as though he’s been through a car wreck as he stumbles out, trying to wave the Québec flag, but winces and clutches his ribs. René takes the flag and waves it for him, now waving both the Québec and the France flags by himself on their way down to the ring.










The crowd then pops LOUDLY as the NEW Tag Champs, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin walk out, accompanied by Nat Taylor! They make their way down to the ring, looking to be a lot less beat up than Grenier, flashing their new gold.


Once at ringside, Nat points at Marie-Claude, telling her to stay out of things. Sylvain immediately goes to the corner, but Rene beats him there, pointing back into the ring and tells him to start. Sylvan looks at him with his eyes wide in shock. “Mon sacré Christ!” The ref calls for the bell as Sylvain now stands across from Charlie Haas, moving in for a lock up. Charlie quickly goes around and takes him over, slamming him onto his stomach. Sylvain tries to scramble free, but Haas stays right on him, locking in a front face lock. Sylvain goes to his feet, but Haas moves him back first into his corner and tags Shelton in. Haas now lets him go and backs away, holding his hands up as Sylvain comes towards him with his fists clenched. Charlie points behind him, and as soon as Grenier turns around, Shelton comes flying off the top ropes with a flying sitout clothesline!

Rene now charges the ring, but Haas cuts him off, flap-jacking him throat first across the top rope! The crowd pops as the champs kick it into high gear, with Shelton leaping over Haas and crunching Rene into the ropes! Haas now takes Rene from the ropes by the waist, hooking him and holds him for a Shelton shuffle kick to the mouth, using the momentum to take him over with a German suplex! Marie-Claude goes to hop onto the ring apron for the distraction, but Nat scares her off with one stone cold look. As Haas bridges up for the pin, Grenier runs right into an Exploder T-bone suplex by Shelton, and the ref counts Duprée down for the one, two, three!


The crowd pops LOUDLY as Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin have completely dismantled the former Tag Team Champions! Nat slides into the ring, handing the titles to her boys, when they’re suddenly mugged from behind by Muhammad Hassan and Daivari!













Daivari grabs Nat by the hair and sends her flying through the middle ropes and to the floor while Hassan DRILLS Benjamin in the back with a steel chair, and then spins Haas around into a Face Crusher into that same steel chair! Hassan pops right back up to his feet, staring coldly down at the tag champs and then raises his arms above his head to a HUGE round of boos from the fans!













The crowd then makes some noise as Eric Angle slides into the ring, going right for Hassan! Muhammad, however, pulls Daivari in front of him, and Eric takes him over with an Angle Slam as Hassan rolls to the outside!


Eric pops right back up to his feet, pointing out to Hassan and calling him on. Muhammad snarls as he back steps up the ramp, shaking his head as we go to a commercial break.
