Subject: Following the Commercial Break

~As soon as we return from the commercial break, we catch up with Edge as he tears through the back, grinning from ear to ear as he leaves the arena, getting into a parked car and peels out.~

~Moments later, Matt Hardy comes racing out behind him, but he’s too late as Edge peels out. He pulls at his hair and releases a scream before turning around, and finding himself face to face with Lita!~ “You AGAIN?! Once and for all… LEAVE… ME… ALONE!”

~Matt then storms past her, leaving her behind pulling at her own hair and almost in tears.~

Lita: “MATT! Please talk to me… Ugh!”

~The feed then switches, and we catch up with one half of the former Teag Team Champions, Charlie Haas. Charlie finishes tying up his boots and pulls out a sweat band with the innitials "RH" on it and pulls it onto his bicep as he prepares for his King of the Ring Qualifying match.~









~The door is then opened and closed, and the camera pulls back to show Nat, who is quietly standing by the door.~

~Charlie goes to his feet and meets her there with a kiss on the lips before bouncing on his toes, rolling his neck from side to side.~ "I can feel it, baby. One door closes, and another opens... this is my night."

~Nat looks down a bit, uncomfortably, then up at him again.~ Look, Charlie, I need to

Charlie: "Feel free."









~Just before Nat can speak, in walks Shelton Benjamin, stopping between the two and looks from Charlie to Nat.~ "Listen, guys... we've got to talk."

~Nat gives Shelton a frustrated look, but lets him go on.~

Charlie: "Go on, brother."

~Shelton takes a breath before speaking, having a hard time spitting out the words.~ "Last week almost felt like the end of an era. We got screwed out of our belts, but instead of giving us a rematch this week, in order to protect Evolution, they're giving you a shot on your own."

Charlie: "What're you saying... that I should have turned it down?" ~Looks over at Nat questioningly.~

~Shelton holds his hands up.~ "I'd never do that to you, my man. After Russ passed, do you remember when you came to me and asked me to take his place? I know how hard that was for you... to replace your brother. I don't have a doubt in my mind that you and I could never touch what you and Russ could have had, but nonetheless, we're still looked upon as the BEST Tag Team in the business. Despite that, I would never ask you to give up yours, or your brother's dream, of realizing ALL of your potential... and I know you wouldn't want to stand in the way of mine..."

~Charlie perks a brow.~ "Where's this going?"

~Nat's face falls as she knows full well where this is going. She shakes her head in disbelief at the situation.~

Shelton: "They offered you a shot at the King of the Ring... a tournament that has led guys like Chris Benoit, Jeff Jarrett, and Chris Jericho to World Championships. They haven't offered ME anything, Charlie... but Raw has. Ric Flair offered me a bye into the Quarter Finals next Monday night if I sign with Raw."

~Nat looks down, stifling a groan, rubbing her forehead.~

~Charlie looks up in pure shock.~ "You're kidding me... right?" ~After a moment of silence, he speaks up once more.~ "Then what'd you say?"

~Shelton lowers his head, and then looks Charlie right in the eyes.~ "I took it."

~Haas eyeballs Benjamin, not saying a word. He then shakes his head and looks over at Nat.~ "Your news any better?"

~Her eyes widen, and she scratches the back of her head nervously.~ "Actually, my news isn't that important... it can wait til after your match..." ~nods~

Charlie: "No, why wait, it's show and tell time. Let’s lay it all on the line and get it all straight right now. Why the HELL not, right?"

~She looks uncomfortably at Shelton, then back to Charlie.~ "Well, it's just... Sable has made it clear that she won't allow me to have a wrestling future on Smackdown. And well, Ric made some pretty good promises to me..." ~She quickly continues, not letting Charlie interrupt.~ "But I hadn't decided yet. I wanted to talk to you about it, and now that I know that Shelton is leaving... it's okay, I want to stay here." ~She forces a smile.~

~Shelton takes a step back from this one as Charlie's eyes grow wide. He almost looks as though he's going to break down before clenching his jaw and stands with his hands on his hips. He then shakes his head at the both of them.~ "You know what... just go... the both of you. Be Raw bound, go become big stars... do your "thing" and don't... worry about it." ~He moves away and goes to pull on his "TWGTT" track coat, but thinks twice about it and tosses it on the floor.~ "I've got a King of the Ring tournament to win... best of luck to you." ~He then storms past the two of them and out of the room, heading out for his match!~

~Nat tries to call after him, but to no avail. She sighs, looking to Shelton.~ "You have the worst freakin' timing in the world, you know that?"
