Foghorns sound for the arrival of John “Bradshaw” Layfield! JBL walks out from the back with a towel around his neck and cowboy hat on his head. Once in the ring, he tips his hat to the crowd with a sarcastic grin as they return the gesture with a round of boos.





If Ya Smeeeeee… If Ya Smeeeeee… If Ya Smeeeeeellalalalalooooow!

WHAT THE ROCK…

Iiiiiiiiiiiis Cooooooooooooooking!







The crowd simply EXPLODES as The Rock storms down the ramp and directly into the ring, going right at JBL with a series of right hands!


JBL back bumps from each blow, staggering in place as The Rock sticks his hand out for a spitter and then rocks JBL with a knuckle sammich to a pop from the crowd! JBL drops down to the mat and is pulled up by the Great One and fired off into the ropes. Rock charges in with a reverse elbow to the jaw, hitting it dead on and drops down for a cover, getting a close two count.

Rock now shoves Bradshaw into a corner and begins to put the boots to him. John covers up and grips the ropes, screaming for a break. As soon as the ref gets between the two, JBL takes advantage and sucker punches The Rock, now pulling him into the corner and begins to unload with a series of straight right hands to a chorus of boos from the crowd!

JBL now fires Rock across, but Rock comes off the ropes with a cross body attempt! However, JBL catches him and holds firm before tossing him all the way across the ring with a fallaway slam! JR grudgingly gives JBL his props for the move as he covers The Rock for a two count.

Back on their feet, JBL drills Rock with a kneelift to the gut and leans him against the ropes, hammering away with another right hand. Rock stumbles away and into a corner, and then catches JBL with an elbow to the mouth as he follows. He then jams JBL’s head into the corner and fires him across, chasing in after him and runs right into a big boot to the mouth! Rock stumbles backwards, turning his back to his opponent, and JBL takes advantage by absolutely CLOBBERING him in the back of the head with a HUGE running clothesline!

Rock hits the mat face first and the motion sends him rolling all the way to the outside of the ring and to the floor. JBL is quick to follow him out there, pulling him up by the head and lifts him into a body slam position, draping him across the barricade chest first! Rock stumbles away clutching his chest as JBL continues to stalk him. John grabs him by the head and goes to slam him into the announce table, but Rock puts both of his hands out and blocks it. John tries it once more, but Rock blocks it against and drills him in the gut, slamming JBL into the announce table! Rock continues to flow, slamming him there 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 times before John goes back bumping against the ring apron and rolling back into the ring!

JBL rebounds up to his feet, but he stumbles around on his wobbly legs. Rock slides in after him and bounces on his toes, and as soon as he turns around he goes for the Rock Bottom! JBL quickly battles free with elbow shots to the head that stagger the Great One. As Rock stands there, JBL comes roaring in off the ropes with the Clothesline from Hell, but Rock ducks and floats around it, JAMMING JBL face first into the mat with a DDT, covering for the one, two, TWO! JBL kicks out to a round of boos from the crowd!

Rock raises the People’s Eyebrow as JBL kicks out. He shoves past the official and makes his way over to him, but JBL counters with a low blow outside of the ref’s view! As Rock hunches over, stumbling around, John now hooks his head and gives him a receipt in the form of a DDT of his own!

JBL now breaks out into a grin, tapping his head as he pulls Rock to his feet, drilling him with a fist to the mouth that sends Rock falling back into the ropes. John goes to fire him across, but Rock reverses the whip and catches JBL on the return with a HUGE spine buster! The crowd pops LOUDLY as Rock goes right to his feet and over to JBL’s head, kicking his arms in to his side and tosses his elbow pad out to the crowd!












Ric Flair comes racing down the ramp and climbs onto the apron, trying to stop the People’s Elbow as Rock comes towards him! However, Rock stops himself and grabs Ric by the head, flipping him over the ropes and into the ring!


Rock now begins to unload on Flair with a series of right hands to the cheers from the fans! He then turns on a dime and DRILLS JBL with a huge right hand! Flair now races towards The Rock from behind, but Rock turns back towards him and catches him with a thunderous Rock Bottom, crunching him into the mat!

Rock bolts right back up to his feet and kicks Flair out of the ring, turning his attention back to JBL. He ducks JBL’s charge and hoists him onto his shoulders in a Samoan drop position. JBL floats over and shoves Rock into the ropes, hitting the far side ropes himself and EXPLODES off of them with a Clothesline from Hell that turns The Rock inside and out! He crawls over to him and hooks the leg, and the official counts the one, two, and three count!


JBL’s theme plays over the speakers as he has garnered the biggest victory of his career right here tonight against the People’s Champion! He rolls to the outside and collects Ric Flair, taking Flair’s arm and forcing him to raise his hand in victory!

The crowd boos loudly as they make their way up the ramp and towards the back, looking back into the ring at The Rock who sits up, pointing and laughing at the Smackdown! superstar!
