~The camera catches up backstage with Lauren, who’s watching the Hall of Fame promo about Scott Steiner. She nods her head with a bit of a grin, when she hears a voice from behind her.~
“Awwww, isn’t that cute?” ~Lauren looks back to see Trish Stratus with the Women’s belt over her shoulder, and she smirks to Lauren.~ “You must be so proud… that your husband is so old that he had to RETIRE.” ~she giggles innocently~
~Lauren merely smirks back, stepping up to Trish.~ “Now now, Trish. You know that Chris only got HIS opportunity BECAUSE Scott retired… so he’s counting his blessings.”
~Trish narrows her eyes, pursing her lips.~ “And I’m counting my blessings that I get to see my man every night. You must miss your hubby soooo much, seeing as he’s always at home… basically your very own desperate housewife. But don’t worry Lauren, I’ll do you a favour and send YOU into retirement, too, at WrestleMania. Then you won’t be lonely anymore.”
~Lauren smiles.~ “That’s so kind Trish, but really unnecessary. I WON’T be lonely after WrestleMania, cause I’ll have something shiny keeping me company.” ~She runs her finger over the belt, causing Trish to glare at her and step back, out of her reach.~
Trish: “DON’T count on it. Your time as champ has been long over, Lauren. I’M running the division now. It’s time you realize that and go join your honey at home.”
~Lauren shakes her head~ “I’m not leaving til I say I’m leaving. And that won’t be until after I’ve beaten EVERYONE this company has to throw at me. Just LIKE my ‘honey’.”
~Lauren smirks then turns and leaves, leaving Trish staring hard after her.~
