UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP









Bridget Carter stands in the middle of the ring to introduce the opening match.









Bridget: Ladies and gentlemen, our first contest of the evening will be for one fall, and it will be for the Unites States Championship! Introducing first, from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania… He is a former World Champion and the only Olympic gold medalist in UCW history, he is Kurt AAAAAAAANGLEEEEEEEEE!










“I Don’t Suck!” blasts over the speakers to a LOUD chorus of boos from the fans. The challenger, Kurt Angle then walks out from the back as the fans chant “YOU SUCK!” right on cue to his music. He stops partway down the red carpet and throws his arms up above his head in time with his pyros. He shakes his head out and makes his way down to the ring with determination etched across his face, all business tonight in his quest to “restore pride” to the United States Championship.



Bridget: Introducing second, from West Newbury, Massachusetts… he is the self-proclaimed Doctor of Thuganomics and the longest reigning United States Champion in UCW history… he is Jooooooohn CEEEEEEENAAAAAA!







your time is up, my time is now…
You Can’t See Me… MY TIME IS NOW!







The crowd EXPLODES as “The Time is Now” rapes the speakers, signaling the arrival of the United States Champion, John Cena! The Doctor steps out from the back, holding the US belt above his head with one arm as he storms down the ramp, tossing his “WrestleMania 5” scull cap to the side and drops the belt onto the apron as he slides into the ring, immediately taking Angle down to the mat with a double leg takedown!


The crowd cheers wildly as Cena unloads with a series of closed fists to the head of the challenger as the bell sounds! John pops back up to his feet and tosses his ‘Mania 5 baseball jersey out to the crowd before shoving Kurt into the ropes, firing him across and takes him over with a HIGH backdrop! As soon as Kurt rebounds to his feet, Cena charges forward with a lariat, but Angle ducks it, going for one of his own. However, John side steps it and grabs Kurt by the head, tossing him up and OVER the top rope and to the floor!

Cena makes his way around the ring, playing to the crowd as Angle hits the floor and begins to collect himself, slamming his hands down onto the apron in anger. As soon as he climbs onto the apron, Cena charges him, going low with a baseball slide that takes Kurt’s feet out from under him. Angle falls off the apron and crunches his jaw on it, and then sails back into the barricade to another pop from the crowd!

This time, Cena follows Kurt to the outside, taking him by the head and walks him around the ring, slamming him head first into the Raw announce table! JR and Piper back off, holding their hands up and pointing Cena over to their own brand’s table! Cena takes a moment to wave his hand in front of his face to the Raw announce team before slamming Angle repeatedly onto their table to a loud pop from the crowd! Angle hits the table so many times that his head keeps going into it once Cena has stopped! Kurt finally sprawls out onto the table, completely knocked loopy! Cena decides to climb onto the apron and mount the ropes, measuring Angle and going in for the kill early! However, Piper refuses to have his table demolished this early into the show and shoves Angle off of it and to the floor to a LOUD round of boos from the fans.

Cena’s eyes grow wide and he descends from the ropes and the apron and goes to the floor, pointing over at Piper. JR attempts to reason with the two as they go chest to chest, but Angle is quick to break it up by drilling Cena from behind, sending him right into Piper! Kurt then grabs the un-expecting Cena and lunges him head first into the steel ring post! As Cena leans against the apron, Kurt rolls him back into the ring and goes to work, stomping all over his back. John drags himself to a corner where he pulls himself up with his back to the ring. Kurt immediately traps him there and begins to ram repeated shoulder blocks to his lower back, working the champion over. After a solid six or seven shots, Kurt hooks Cena by the waist and takes him out of the corner with a HIGH German suplex, crunching him into the mat and bridges up for a close one, two, TWO count!

John rolls free and to his feet where Kurt is right on him with a boot to the mid section, followed up by a right hand. He goes to fire him across but Cena counters and goes for a lariat upon Kurt’s return. However, Angle dives around the champion with a schoolboy, turning it into an Angle Lock out of NOWHERE! Cena immediately pushes himself up off the mat and does a forward roll, sending Kurt crashing chest first into the corner pads and then rolls him up with a schoolboy of his own for a two count!

Right back on their feet, Angle runs Cena over with a clothesline and drops down onto him, ramming his knee into the back of Cena’s head and pulls back with a chin lock. Kurt then fish hooks Cena to a LOUD round of boos from the fans, trying to disfigure the champion! Referee Mike Chioda gives Angle a five count before he releases, threatening him with a DQ. Angle now pulls the champion up by the head and shoves him into a corner, drilling him with a right hand. Kurt then squishes John’s cheeks together, talking some trash and pointing in his face. This fires Cena up and he reverses the tide, pulling Angle into the corner and begins to unload with a series of right fists to the mouth! The crowd cheers the champion as he fires Angle across chest first into the far corner and chases in after him. Angle quickly ducks out of the way and Cena goes chest first into the corner, and Kurt latches onto him from behind and takes him over with a German suplex!

Angle keeps his fingers locked and takes John over with a second, and then a third consecutive German to a round of boos from the fans. Kurt then pops up to his feet and PULLS DOWN THE STRAPS, stomping up and down on the mat, waiting for John to stand! As soon as Cena pulls himself to his feet, Kurt goes low for the Olympic Slam, but Cena floats over and meets Kurt with a boot to the mid section, followed up by a DDT and covers for the one, two, TWO!

Cena attempts to take control of this match and goes to pull Angle to his feet, but Kurt latches onto John’s leg and pulls him down to the mat, going for another Angle Lock! Cena uses his free leg to boot Kurt in the head repeatedly until Angle rolls away. Right back on their feet, John fires away on Angle and fires him across, ducking his head for a back drop but Angle meets him with a STIFF kick to the chest. Kurt now comes back off the ropes with a lariat, but John ducks under and around him, hoisting him into the air with a backdrop and turns it into a sitout sidewalk slam and covers for another close two count!

John smacks the mat in frustration as he meets Kurt to his feet and goes to fire him across once more; however, this time Angle pops his hips and counters, pulling Cena right into an over the head belly-to-belly suplex! Kurt dives onto Cena for the cover and gets another two count before flipping him onto his stomach and begins to unload with a series of fists and slaps to Cena’s neck. Kurt latches in another rear chin lock, sticking to his game plan and attempts to wear Cena down bit by bit. The crowd gets behind the champion as he battles his way to his feet, fighting free with a barrage of elbows to the gut. However, Kurt stops the momentum with a simple rake to the eyes and fires Cena across, but the Doctor explodes off the ropes with a flying shoulder tackle that floors the challenger!

Cena is fired up now as he fires Angle across, taking him all the way across the ring with a sitout hip toss now! The champion bolts right back up to his feet and he PUMPS UP THE KICKS, measures Angle as he pulls himself up and comes off the far side ropes, JAMMING Kurt face first into the mat with the Throwback flipping neck breaker and covers for the one, two, TWO! Angle kicks out!

Cena pulls Kurt to his feet, but Angle quickly goes behind him with a German suplex, crunching him into the mat! He holds on and rolls through for a second, but Cena stands firm, battling his way free from it. He then hoists the stumbling Angle onto his shoulders and goes for the FU, but Angle floats over into a sunset flip for a close two count! Both men shoot right back up to the feet, and Angle takes John over with a fireman’s carry, quickly latches onto his ankle as he slides out of the ring and pulls him into a corner, SLAMMING his ankle into the ring post!

The crowd absolutely BOOMS with boos as Angle rams Cena’s ankle into the ring post four more times! The champion is SCREAMING out in pain, digging his fingernails into the mat as he pulls himself away from the challenger. Kurt now rolls into the ring behind Cena and grabs his ankle, driving three straight elbow drops down onto it. Cena fights his way free and uses the ropes to pull himself up, battling back with a right hand. Kurt fires back with one of his own, and Cena sends a receipt, followed up by another, and then another. Angle back bumps and staggers in the middle as John goes for a haymaker, but Kurt ducks it and takes Cena up and over with an Olympic Slam! Kurt hooks the near leg, and Chioda drops down to count the one, two, three! No! Cena rolls his shoulder free at 2.999999!

The crowd begins to chant “CENA! CENA! CENA!” over and again until Kurt goes to his feet, pulls his straps back up, just to pull them back down and latch onto the champ’s ankle with another Angle Lock! Cena SCREAMS out in pain for a few moments before lifting himself up off the mat and rolling forward, escaping for a second time, sending Angle sailing out to the floor! John takes this time to pull himself together and kick his ankle out. However, as Kurt pulls himself together as well and climbs onto the apron, John manages to scale to the top rope in the corner. As soon as Kurt sticks his head through the ropes to climb back into the ring, Cena flies off with a guillotine leg drop and crunching Kurt face first into the mat!

The crowd gets behind Cena as he becomes possessed, going right back up to his feet and leans over Angle, waving his hand in front of his face as the crowd screams out “YOU CAN’T SEE ME!” John then comes off the ropes, does an Angle like spin with his arms extended before dusting off his shoulder and DROPS the 5 Knuckle Shuffle! Cena pops right back up to his feet and waves Angle on as he stands, lifting him up and JAMMING him into the mat with the FU, covering for the one, two, and thre… NO! Angle kicks out!

Cena, however, thinks that he has this match won and stumbles back into a corner with both of his arms raised above his head! Chioda quickly informs Cena that it was a two count, and the champion is in complete shock. As he argues with the official, Angle somehow pulls himself together and stumbles back towards Cena. John quickly hoists him BACK onto his shoulders, but Kurt counters it into a victory roll, and turns that into an Angle Lock!

Cena SCREAMS out in pain, trying to kick his way free, but every time Kurt hits the mat he rolls through and back to his feet, still with the Angle Lock in check! John attempts to roll forward once more, but Kurt rolls with him and keeps it locked in! John now scrapes and claws for the ropes, but as soon as he is about to reach them, Kurt drags him back into the middle of the ring and drops down to the mat, latching his legs around Cena’s! The crowd begins to assume the worst as Cena has NOWHERE to go! He is absolutely HOWLING out in pain as his hand dangles above the mat, about to tap out before he grips the back of his head in a severe amount of pain! John then looks up, and the camera focuses in on a face full of determination and he releases a scream with each inch that he crawls forward. Kurt begins to shake his head, screaming “TAP! TAP! TAP!”, but Cena will have nothing of it as he pushes himself up, scraping and clawing his way to the ropes, dragging Kurt along with him!

Cena grabs onto that bottom rope for dear life while Kurt goes to his feet, refusing to release the hold and attempts to pulls Cena back into the middle! John now latches onto the middle rope, and then the top rope, wrapping his arms around it and refuses to be pulled! Chioda gives his five count before Kurt finally releases in anger, accidentally swinging his arms back and drilling the official in the jaw!

Chioda goes sailing down into a corner as Angle looks back at him in shock at what has transpired here. He then looks to Cena and then to a far corner where John’s steel chain hangs. Angle has now had enough and he grabs the chain, staring at it for a moment before wrapping it around his fist, turning back towards the champion with hate in his eyes. However, John had stumbled over to his and lifts Kurt onto his shoulders, SLAMMING him into the mat with an FU out of nowhere! The chain goes flying to the outside and John falls onto Angle, hooking the near leg as Chioda crawls into place, counting the one, the two, and the THREE!


“The Time is Now” rapes the speakers as Bridget Carter announces John Cena as the STILL United States Champion! John rolls off of Angle and clutches his ankle as Kurt kicked out just a second too late.

Kurt goes rolling to the outside, holding the back of his head and trying to figure out what the heck just happened. Meanwhile, Cena pulls himself up in a corner and is handed his belt, clutching it to his chest before giving it a spin and raising it above his head in celebration as the crowd goes wild for him!

Back on the outside, Angle kicks the ring steps over and screams at the fans in the front row, throwing a fit! He stands on the outside with both hands on the back of his head, staring into the ring as Cena can’t even stand on his own two feet, leaning against the ropes and holding the championship above his head as Marissa, Jax and Tommy Dreamer give the champion the respect that he has earned right here tonight!
