The crowd EXPLODES as “Basic Thuganomics” rapes the speakers, and Smackdown! is once again kick started by the arrival of the United States Champion, John Cena! He walks out onto the top of the stage and gives the face plate on the championship a spin before making his way down, rocking the “Word Life” sign above his head.









“Next Big Thing” answers Cena from over the speakers as Brock Lesnar walks out from the back, shuffling from side to side before jacking forward and down the ramp with a roar. Paul Heyman reminds everyone at home about Brock’s huge victory over Kurt Angle last week as Brock makes his way down the ramp. He leaps up onto the ring apron in time with his pyros that blast up from all four ring posts before entering the ring, standing across from Cena.


These two former hated foes stand across from one another in the middle of the ring, and Cena holds the belt up in Brock’s face, giving it another spin to a pop from the crowd. Brock then shuts the crowd up by immediately lifting Cena up off the mat and jams him back first into a corner, unloading with a series of shoulder blocks! The bell sounds as Cena’s feet leave the mat with each and every single shot, and Brock then fires him across and Cena hits the corner HARD, stumbling out into Brock’s grasp, who takes him up and over with a standing over the head belly-to-belly suplex!


Heyman: Brock Lesnar has unleashed the beast! Consider him the NEW United States Champion people, because you can’t stop an EXTREME Manster!


Cena goes rolling into a corner, where Brock is right on him with a right hand. Brock now fires Cena into the ropes, and John comes off with a shoulder block, but Brock stands firm. Brock pounds his chest and calls for another, and once again, Cena can’t move the Manster. The champ comes off the ropes a third time, ducks a lariat, and then comes FLYING of the ropes with a missile shoulder tackle, sending Lesnar to the mat to a pop from the crowd! As soon as Brock rebounds to his feet, Cena charges in and levels him with a lariat, taking him OVER the top rope and to the floor!

Brock hits feet first and grabs a hold of the ring apron, slamming his hands down against it in anger. Cena now comes charging in with a baseball slide, but Brock steps out of the way and pulls Cena to the outside, immediately ramming him back first into the corner of the ring. He then hoists John right up off the mat and slams him chest first across the barricade, followed up by a hip toss that sends the champion flying 6 feet before landing on his tail bone!

Heyman continues to rile Brock up as he stalks in after Cena, pulling him up by the head and sends him rolling into the ring. Brock leaps onto the apron and enters the ring, motioning around his waist and letting Cena know that he’s bringing the gold home. The champion, however, refuses to give up and meets Brock with a right fist to the stomach, but Brock fires back with a knee to the head that drops Cena to the mat. John rolls into a corner and pulls himself up, and Lesnar measures him. Brock now charges in, but Cena ducks out of the way. Brock stops himself from hitting hard and turns back to Cena, who connects with a series of right hands that pops the crowd!

The Doctor begins to build some momentum as he fires Brock across, dropping him with a lariat, followed up by a second, and then a third. Cena pulls him up and drills him with a knee-lift, and then hoists him onto his shoulders for the FU! Brock kicks his legs wildly and floats over, immediately pulling Cena up for an F5! Cena battles free himself and lands behind Lesnar, taking him over with a back suplex, but spins him in mid air into a sitout Powerbomb! The champion dives onto the challenger, hooking the leg for the one, two, TWO! Brock kicks out!

Heyman starts to yell at Lesnar to get up, and as soon as he does so, Cena takes him over with a fisherman’s suplex, rolling through and takes him over with a second. The champ decides to test his luck and goes for a third, but Brock blocks it and lifts Cena HIGH into the air with a stalling fisherman’s of his own, and then flings him forward gut first onto the top rope! The crowd “ooooooh’s” as Cena almost misses and goes sailing to the floor. John stands on the apron, leaning against the ropes and trying to catch his breath as Brock stalks in after him. Cena then throws a shoulder block through the ropes that bends Lesnar over, and then he springs himself into the ring, driving Brock face first into the mat with a Throwback flipping neck breaker and covers for the one, two, TWO!

Brock rolls his shoulder free and lies on his side, shaking his head out. Cena pops up to his feet and leans over Lesnar, waving his hand in front of his face as the crowd chants out “YOU CAN’T SEE ME!” John then comes off the ropes, dusts off his shoulder, and goes for the 5 Knuckle Shuffle, but Brock moves out of the way and Cena punches the mat. Brock then immediately pulls Cena’s head between his legs and hoists him up, DRIVING him into the mat with a sick Powerbomb! Lesnar keeps his fingers locked and pulls Cena up for another, drilling him into the mat again! Brock now grins as he pulls the champ up for a third, but as soon as he goes to slam him down, Cena counters it into a HUGE DDT!! The crowd BREAKS out into a chant of…


“CENA! CENA! CENA! CENA! CENA! CENA! CENA!”


Brock shakes his head out as John grabs at his lower back in pain. Brock crawls into a corner and picks up Cena’s steel chain, wrapping it around his fist. John uses the ropes to pull himself up and stalks in after Lesnar, who is playing possum. As soon as Cena pulls him up, Brock swings a haymaker, but Cena ducks it and hoists him onto his shoulders for the FU!! Just as Cena goes to jack him into the mat, Brock drills Cena in the skull with the steel chain with consecutive shots!

Cena’s legs crumble beneath him and he drops to the mat, only completing half of the FU and sends Brock landing on his ass. Pain shoots up Brock’s spine as he tosses the steel chain aside and out of the ref’s view, but he has avoided the complete effects of the FU. Cena, however, is out on the mat, lying sprawled out and the fans BOOM with boos as Brock pulls himself up, doing a quick shuffle with a grin as he makes his way over.

He picks Cena up by the head and hoists him onto his shoulders to a loud round of boos from the crowd, but before he can jack him into the mat with the F5, the lights in the arena go out as the unmistakable GONG belonging to The Undertaker comes over the speakers! The crowd goes INSANE as the lights come back on, and Brock stands in shock, white as a ghost with his eyes wide! This allows Cena to float over and reverse the momentum, lifting Brock onto his shoulders and jams him into the mat with the FU! John pulls up on the leg, and the crowd counts along with the one, two, THREE!


“Basic Thuganomics” rapes the speakers once more as John Cena continues his winning streak! He slides to the outside and collects his championship, leaning against the barricade and holds it above his head in celebration, the crowd surrounding him and wrapping their arms around him, giving the belt a spin!
