Welcome North of the border in Beautiful British Columbia for LIVE action right here on Brand Smackdown!


Last week Jesse Hart and Athene had everyone fooled into believing that Hart’s career was over, and that there would be a NEW World Champion by evening’s end; however, that was not to be as it was just a sick display of self-indulgence on the part of the World Champion to manipulate everyone’s emotions. Tonight, Chris Benoit will attempt to manipulate Jesse Hart’s body into Tapping Out as he will challenge for the World Championship in our Main Event!

In our Co-Main Event this evening, we will host a Grudge Match between Kurt Angle and Charlie Haas! This battle has been brewing over Nat Taylor for nearly two years now, and tonight it will finally come to a head when they do battle for the very first time in a one on one contest! It will truly be Student vs Teacher in what may begin as a technical classic and finish as a blood bath!

Haas’ partner, Shelton Benjamin, will look to extract revenge against Los Guerrero’s when he meets Eddie Guerrero in the squared circle!

Third Generation Star Teddy Hart will compete in his first singles contest on Smackdown! this evening against Brian “Spanky” Kendrick!

And finally, the United States Champion John Cena, who has been on a monumental role since defeating Tommy Dreamer at SummerSlam, will look to rekindle the bloody feud he had with Brock Lesnar this evening when “The Manster” vies for the championship, and this match is coming up NEXT!
