“World’s Greatest” plays over the speakers, popping the crowd as Shelton Benjamin bounces out from the back. He makes his way down to the ring and slides inside, climbing up a corner and looks out to the wild Vancouver fans.





We Lie, We Cheat, We Steeeeeeal!








Los Guerrero’s ride out next to the ramp in a custom low rider, bouncing up and down on the hydraulics. They make their way to the ring and circle it on opposite sides, moving in on Benjamin.


Shelton stands in the middle, keeping an eye on both sides of the ring. As soon as Eddie climbs onto the apron, Shelton charges him and chases him off. He then races across to the other side, drilling Chavo with a right hand that drops him to the floor. Eddie now slides into the ring, racing up behind Shelton, but Benjamin steps to the side and sends Eddie sailing over the top rope and onto Chavo on the floor!

Los Guerrero’s attempt to pull themselves together, and as soon as they make it to their feet, Benjamin comes charging in, leaping OVER the top rope and comes crashing down on them on the floor! The crowd pops as Shelton rolls back into the ring, cleaning house!

The Smacktron switches to a backstage feed where we see all three Evolution members, Adonis Jordan, Nick Dinsmore, and Matt Morgan, watching the match on a monitor. Back in the ring, Shelton reaches over the ropes, grabbing Eddie by the head. Chavo causes a brief distraction, which allows Eddie to snap Shelton’s throat into the ring ropes. Benjamin goes flailing back first to the mat, and Eddie springs himself into the ring with a rolling senton, covering for a two count.

Latino Heat pulls Benjamin to his feet, meeting him with a right hand and leans him against the ropes, firing him across. Benjamin comes charging back, leapfrogging over Eddie and sets his feet, going air born with a dropkick. However, Eddie counters with a dropkick of his own, and both men pop right back up to their feet with their fists raised at a stand still.

The crowd pops for the exchange, and then quickly boos as Eddie jams a thumb into Shelton’s eye. He then shoves him into a corner and mounts the ropes, and as soon as Chavo climbs onto the apron to distract the ref, he wraps the tag rope around Benjamin’s throat and begins to choke him out. Eddie releases the tag rope as the official comes back over. While Eddie plays innocent with the referee, Benjamin walks out of the corner with Guerrero in a Powerbomb position, but Eddie counters it into a Hurricanrana!

Latino Heat is feeling it now as he pulls Shelton up to his feet, taking him over with a snap suplex. He pops his hips and rolls through with a second, and then attempts the third. However, Benjamin floats over this one and lands on his feet, sending a thrust kick forward that Eddie catches. Eddie spins him around, and Shelton returns with the spin kick that floors the former United States Champion! Chavo climbs onto the apron, and Benjamin connects with a forearm shot to the mouth, dropping him to the floor!

Eddie comes up behind Shelton and goes for a low blow, but Benjamin jumps over the shot and lands behind Eddie, giving a nice hard BOOT to the back. Eddie tightens up and reaches his feet, and then stumbles forward, and right into the set up for the Exploder! Eddie wraps a leg around Shelton and tries to battle free. Once free, Eddie hits the ropes and come charging forward, but he runs right into a spinning wheel kick!

The crowd begins to chant “SHELTON!” repeatedly as Eddie pulls himself up in the corner. Benjamin measures him and then comes racing in with a Stinger Splash, connecting dead one! As soon as he bounces off of Eddie and back into the ring, Chavo races forward, but Benjamin catches him with an Exploder! Chavo goes rolling out onto the apron, where the official tries to get him out of the ring.















With the official’s back to the action, Carlito slides into the ring, steel chair in hand. As soon as Benjamin hooks Eddie for another Exploder, Chavo comes in from behind, swinging the chair, but Benjamin ducks it and Carlito DRILLS Eddie in the head!


As Eddie drops to the mat, Shelton stiffs Carlito with a shuffle kick to the mouth, sending him and the chair to the outside! He then drops down onto Guerrero, hooking the leg, and the ref is back to count the one, two, and THREE!


“World’s Greatest” plays back over the speakers as Shelton Benjamin has overcome all three men!
