Welcome to the home state of UCW headquarters for LIVE action right here on Brand Smackdown!


And as we just found out, after possibly costing Chris Benoit the World Championship last week, Edge will have to meet The Crippler one on one in the main event!

The Undisputed Tag Team Championship will also be on the line when Les Séparatistes defend against former champions, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin! And after the biggest win of his career last week against Kurt Angle, Charlie Haas is on a roll to becoming a four time Tag Champ!

Making his SD! debut tonight, John Heidenreich will take on Rob Van Dam!

The United States Championship will be on the line when John Cena defends against Evolution member Matt Morgan!

And finally, as we just found out, Jesse Hart has claimed that the number one contender for the World Championship WILL be named tonight, and that we will finally have our WrestleMania 5 Main Event set in stone!


Stay tuned and don’t back down, because everyone knows that anything can happen on any given Smackdown!

~As soon as the Smackdown! opening comes to a close, the crowd pops as Nirvana's "Come As You Are" bursts onto the speakers. The fans all go to their feet, welcoming back the Innovator of Violence, Tommy Dreamer!~












~Dreamer steps out onto the stage with a UCW Smackdown T-shirt and tear away sweats on and pauses, taken aback by the reaction. Tommy walks down to the ringside area and hesitates at the steps, moving away from them and wandering over to the announcer’s desk. The fans realize what's happening and blow the roof off with a chant of…~


"TOMMY, TOMMY!! TOMMY!! TOMMY!! TOMMY!! TOMMY!!!"


~Dreamer pauses and shakes hands with Jax, then gives a chest pound and a kiss to the sky, before putting on the headset!~


Jax: Are you... could it be? Tommy Dreamer a Smackdown! colour commentator?!


~Dreamer waits for a moment until he hears Jax words.~ "Tommy Dreamer is a Smackdown superstar… Who happens to have one hell of a talking voice, Jax. With the loss of Paulie to the active side of things, I was asked by the General Manager to fill a spot. So, thanks to the fans for this welcome, thanks to Athene and Jesse for the chance, and thanks to you... for the chance to work with the best.”


Jax: I couldn't have said it better myself... well, I could have, 'cause I'm the best, but we've already covered that! We've got our opener coming up, you ready Dreamer?


Dreamer: "Well, no, but since when has that stopped Smackdown, Jax? So let’s do it!"
