The Raw feed comes back in, showing Eric Young and Johnny D'Amore of Team Canada already in the ring, and undoing their jackets. The two give a forearm shot to one another as "Bottom of a Bottle" by Smile Empty Soul rips on the speakers.

Chris Sabin walks out after the initial crowd pop and holds his right fist in the air. The fans respond by getting to their feet and cheering him to the ring. Sabin breaks into a run and slides under the bottom rope, checking the torque of the ringropes.

HAIL SABIN! HAIL SABIN! HAIL SABIN! HAIL SABIN!


Chris is almost taken back by the sheer magnitude of the cheers. Team Canada is just as blown back by it, looking to one another to try and ignore it. Sabin turns to acknowledge the fans, when his video is cut off, and replaced by "I Am" and the promo package for AJ Styles!

AJ steps out onto the ramp and instructs the sound team to turn his music up, drowing out the boos and the "Hail Sabin's". This causes the fans to try and top the sound effects even more, almost rocking the stadium by the battle. Styles finally gets into the ring, whipping off his hood and extending his arms out. He puts a hand to his throat to kill his music and unstraps the International title, showing it to Sabin first, and then yanking it away. AJ hands it to a ringhand and steps back through the ropes, having little interest in this match.

Sabin shrugs his shoulders and moves in to meet Johnny D'Amore for the tieup. A standing switch turns into an arm wringer by Sabin, which in turn gets reversed by D'Amore. Johnny backs him into the ropes and whips Chris off. Sabin runs the ropes and comes back into a hiptoss attempt that he blocks, kicks Johnny in the chest, and then spins around into a facebuster on the mat! Sabin then pauses and gives a standing moonsault onto D'Amore, only getting 2 with the attempt. Sabin goes right back on the attack, sending chops and punches to D'Amore. Johnny pulls him into a side headlock and wrenches down on it, dropping to one knee to focus more pressure on. He backs into the Team Canada corner, which immediately draws Styles out from his side. AJ goes to get the breakup, but is warned and walked back to the corner by referee Teddy Long. Styles keeps resisting, as Team Canada take the initiative and start the beatdown on Sabin, Young stepping through the ropes to work Chris over in the corner. Chris turns and decks Young at first, then gives a second shot to D'Amore, grabbing Eric by the head and whipping him into the opposing corner, directly into Styles' outstretched foot. AJ reaches in and catches the tag, leaping over the top rope and bringing Young backwards with a rollup! Eric kicks out at 2 and moves right back into a scoop slam from Styles. AJ turns and backflips on Young, going for a second pin attempt, but this one gets bridged out of as well.

Eric moves to his feet, and is caught immediately by a chop from Styles. AJ goes to whip him into the ropes, but reverses into the other corner again. Styles kicks him in the midsection and leaps upwards, landing on Young's back as he's doubled over and goes into a huricanrana, tossing Young across the ring by it! Styles stands up and extends his arms out for approval, getting a crowd pop and turns to bow to Sabin as well. Styles goes right back on Young with a boot to the back of the head, and then charges the Team Canada corner, aiming a forearm at D'Amore. Johnny sees it coming and ducks AJ's shot, pulling down on the top rope. Styles clears it and lands on the apron to adjust himself, but D'Amore lariats him right back inside! Styles hits hard in the ring and is pulled right over by Young with a rollup attempt! AJ kicks out at 2 and finds himself the victim of a scoop slam by Young.

D'Amore yanks on the top rope and slingshots himself in with a legdrop, rolling out of the way for Young, who comes hurling in with a rolling senton! Styles is pulled back at this one, and only escapes due to Chris Sabin coming in to break up the pin! AJ stumbles aside, as Sabin is pushed back to the corner and starts to crawl over to it, aiming his hand out for the hot tag. Young grabs AJ by the foot and yanks him backwards. Styles adjusts and gets to his feet, still held out by Young. AJ goes for an enziguri with his free leg, but Young drops the held one and ducks the kick. As soon as he's back up, however, AJ reverses ground and brains Eric with a Kawada kick. Young lays face out on the mat, as Styles starts to move back towards the other corner. Young pushes himself up at the same time and moves near D'Amore, extending his arm out for his partner. Team Canada make the switch out first, right before Styles dives and connects hands with Sabin!

Future explodes out of the corner with a rolling lariat that connects with D'Amore! Eric Young gets to his feet and is plowed down with a dropkick by Future! Chris soaks in the crowd's cheers and takes D'Amore over with a snap suplex, then pulling him over into a Northern Lights, and finally setting him up for a Future Shock as his 3rd! D'amore adjusts in midair and breaks out of it, landing behind Chris and taking him over in a wheelbarrell suplex! Sabin goes high up into the apex of the move and snaps on Johnny's head, flipping over and landing behind him with a lung blower, driving both knees into his back! D'Amore falls to his own knees from this one, shocked by the impact! Sabin then leaps back up, looking around and twirls his hand by his ear, aiming it to the crowd for a round of...

HAIL SABIN, HAIL SABIN, HAIL SABIN, HAIL SABIN, HAIL SABIN!!!



Eric Young comes crashing into him from behind with a flying calf kick that floors Sabin, sending out a round of boos from the crowd for interrupting their chant! Chris shoves him away and tries to get back up to his feet. Young hoists him back up into a gutwrench backbreaker, driving him across the knee instead. Sabin finally crawls towards the corner and Styles outstretched hand, as Young glances towards it, waving AJ on in to get some himself. Styles sees the challenge and waves Chris forward even more, leaning over the top rope for the tag. Sabin gets one last gasp and dives at the corner, right before Styles yanks back his hand and leaps off the apron!

AJ waves off the match and goes to collect his International Title, pointing to Sabin and saying the words "You're not ready yet...". The fans erupt in boos as they realize that AJ is leaving the area at the same time Sabin does. Chris' eyes go in shock as he curses AJ walking away from the ring. Young watches him leave and shrugs his shoulders, hoisting Sabin back up and into a fireman's carry, swinging him off his shoulders and into a neckbreaker that flattens Future! Young glances over to see D'Amore recovering and climbing to the top rope. Eric signals that he's going up as well and goes to the other turnbuckle. The Team Canada members perch at the top for a moment, and then rocket off one after the other. Young crashes down across Sabin with a legdrop, and D'Amore goes airborne with a crisp moonsault that flattens Future immediately afterwards! Eric climbs over after Johnny hits and yanks back on Sabin's leg, getting an almost academic 1...2...and THREE count!

Team Canada celebrate their win by hugging one another and hoisting their arms in the air, having finally gotten over the hump and collecting their FIRST win as a group!
