~After the promo video for WrestleMania 5 finishes, we catch up with Kurt Angle backstage as he makes his way back from ringside, grinning from ear to ear.~









~The crowd then pops as Shelton Benjamin comes flying onto the scene from out of nowhere, diving onto Angle’s back and they go crashing to the floor~

~Shelton ends up on top of Angle and he fires off a series of right hands to his head before officials come in to break it up, pulling him off of Angle!~


Angle: GET HIM OFF ME! HE’S CRAZY! HE’S A CRIMINAL!

Benjamin: I’m NOT done with you, you SON OF A BITCH! You’re MINE tonight Angle, you’re MINE!

~The officials drag Benjamin off screen, and the camera closes in on Angle as he breaks out into another smirk, shaking his head.~

Angle: This is gonna be good.

~The feed then switches and we catch up with Trish Stratus as she is walking towards her locker room, proudly sporting her newly won Women’s Championship.~










~As soon as she walks through the door, she’s greeted by her man and Heavyweight Champion, Chris Jericho.~


~Chris looks her up and down with a hand on his chin.~ Well look at her… is that a new member to the family?

~Trish smiles brightly, wiping off a bit of dust on the belt.~ I saw yours getting lonely.

~They both grin as they meet for a kiss.~

Chris: Now all we have to do is keep this one in the family, and we’re going out on the town.

Trish: You’ll get it done, I’m sure of it.

Chris: Then I’ll meet you back here when it’s all said and done, babay.

~Chris then heads out of the room, going to prepare for his match. Trish follows him out the door, watching him leave before turning back to head into her room, but she stops dead in her tracks as she finds herself face to face with the new number one contender, Lauren!~















Lauren: Looks like it’s you and me at WrestleMania.

~Trish gulps just slightly.~ Yeah. Yeah it is.

Lauren: Nervous?

~Trish laughs incredulously.~ Ha! Me, nervous? Because of you? You’ve got to be kidding me.

~Lauren grins, stepping up to Trish.~ Are ya sure about that? Kurt Angle doesn’t hate ME.

~Trish glares at Lauren, not backing down.~ Good! I don’t want him taking away from my win against you.

Lauren: Like he did tonight?

Trish: I would have beaten Nat either way. ~adjusts the belt on her shoulder~ Kurt just speeded up the process… a LITTLE bit.

Lauren: You keep telling yourself that. ~She reaches up, patting Trish’s belt, causing Trish to flinch slightly.~ I like ‘em delusional… why do you think I kept Midajah and Victoria around for so long? But don’t feel bad. I’ll let you keep the belt for about a month. That’s your record too, isn’t it?

~Trish grits her teeth.~ I’ll beat you at WrestleMania, and I’ll beat your record too. Seven months? That’ll be NOTHING compared to how long I’ll hold this baby.

~Lauren chuckles, shaking her head.~ Like I said… I like ‘em delusional. ~She laughs again, heading past Trish, as Trish glares after her.~
