Subject: Royal Rumble

As the promotional video for the Royal Rumble match itself finishes, it shows the highlights of UCW’s Royal Rumble past three winners; Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Jesse Hart. We then take you to ringside where Jax has been joined by Jim Ross to call the yearly classic. The camera now focuses in on the ring where Howard Finkel stands in the middle, mic in hand.


Fink: Ladies and gentlemen, our next contest is the 30 man over the top rope ROYAL RUUUUUUUMBLE! The rules of the match are as follows. We will start with two competitors from either Brand Raw or Brand Smackdown, and every 90 seconds thereafter another competitor will enter the match until all 30 participants have entered. The ONLY way to be eliminated is to go over the top rope and have BOTH feet touch the floor. The winner of the match will be the last man left standing in the ring, and he will go onto the main event of WrestleMania 5 to compete for the World or Heavyweight Championship! And now, introducing the man who drew number one, from Brand Smackdown, Carlito “Caribbean” Cooooooooool!










I Spit in the Face… of People Who Don’t Want to be Cool!







The crowd immediately begins to boo loudly as Carlito walks out onto the top of the stage, looking NONE too pleased. He makes his way down the ramp and to ringside, carrying an apple in his hand as he enters the ring. He slips out of his shirt and tosses it out to a stagehand, awaiting the next entrant.



Fink: Introducing the man who drew number 2, also from Brand Smackdown, CHRIS BEEEEEEEEENOOOOOOIT!









The crowd pops LOUDLY as Chris Benoit makes his third straight appearance in the Royal Rumble as the number two entrant! Benoit marches down the ramp on his toes, sliding into the ring and pounds his chest for the fans.


Carlito quickly screams at the stagehand on the outside, yelling for his shirt back! Benoit grins as Fink exits the ring, and he stares across at Carlito, looking forward to extracting some much deserved revenge. Carlito backs off, holding his hands up and trying to plead with Benoit as the bell sounds. Chris stalks into the corner after him, and Carlito attempts to catch him off guard with a right hand, but Benoit blocks it and STIFFS a chop across his chest! The crowd pops as Carlito tries to cover up, but Benoit penetrates through with a second wicked chop, and then a third! Carlito’s face contorts with pain as he stumbles out of the corner and into the ropes. Benoit grabs his wrist and fires him across, dropping him with a running double forearm shot to the chest and then drops down onto him for the Crossface!

Carlito quickly crawls away and to the ropes, wrapping both arms around the bottom one for dear life! Benoit backs away with a grin and simply looks down at Carlito as he balls up into the fetal position, refusing to release the ropes. After a few moments, Carlito opens his eyes to see that Benoit, and the 20,000 fans in attendance are all laughing at him. He bolts right up to his feet, red faced and angry, pointing at Benoit and screaming at him. “NOT Cool, man!” Carlito now charges Benoit, but Chris steps to the side and sends Carlito sailing over the top rope! Carlito lands on the apron and latches onto the ropes, refusing to let go as Benoit puts the boots to him, trying to shove him off and to the floor as the crowd counts down to the next entrant.

Raw’s Christian is the third man to enter the match, walking out onto the top of the stage and pounds his chest, sending a kiss out to his “Peeps” before entering the ring, coming up behind Benoit and tries to dump him out on his head!

Chris battles back with an elbow shot and then swings around Christian, taking him over with a German! Carlito now rushes Benoit, but the Crippler goes around HIM with a German, crunching him into the mat! Benoit holds on and rolls through for a second, but Carlito holds on, trying to free himself. He drills Benoit on the side of the head with a few back elbow shots, and this allows Christian to grab Benoit from behind, dropping down with a reverse DDT onto his knee!

Christian grins as he drops the Crippler, and then he and Carlito make eye contact. They look to one another, and then down to Benoit, and then back to one another. They nod their heads in agreement and Carlito points down to Benoit, but Christian urges him to go first. Carlito hesitates, and then slowly goes over to where Benoit is, but he turns back to Christian immediately as Christian approached. Christian backs off, holding his hands up, claiming innocence to a laugh from the crowd. Carlito now tells Christian to go first if he’s so innocent, so Christian bites his lip and cautiously moves over towards Benoit. However, as soon as he turns his back, Carlito moves in on him, and Christian catches him red handed!

They both stand a foot away from one another, putting their fists up and screaming at each other! Christian decides to fess up and apologize, extending his hand for a shake. Carlito seems suspicious, and after a few moments of almost shaking hands, they both finally do so, while holding their other arm behind their backs and crossing their fingers to another laugh from the fans. They quickly shake hands and pull away, moving on Benoit together, but by this time the Wolverine is back up to his feet and ready to fight! He LACES a chop across Carlito’s chest, and then sends one to Christian as well. He then runs Carlito over with a lariat before booting the C-man in the gut, taking him over with a snap suplex. He pulls Carlito up by his fro and takes him over with a snap suplex as well, directly ONTO Christian! Benoit is cleaning house over the two sneaky little bastards as the next countdown begins.

Alter Bridge’s “Mettalingus” plays over the speakers for the second time tonight, signaling the arrival of the FORMER United States Champion, EDGE! He comes barreling down the ramp looking EXTREMELY pissed off about his title loss earlier on tonight, and he slides into the ring in a hurry, BLASTING Benoit with a Spear!

He pops right back up to his feet and drills both Carlito and Christian with right hands, dropping them to the mat! Edge now hurries in after Christian as he cowers away into a corner, PLEADING with his brother! Carlito now comes up behind Edge, but Edge steps out of the way and allows him to crunch Christian in the corner! As Carlito and Christian stand dazed in the corner, Edge backs off and takes a running start, plowing into Carlito with another Spear! As soon as Carlito drops face first to the mat, Edge hooks Christian’s head, going for the Edgecution DDT!

Christian drops down to his knees and scampers away, holding his hands up and SCREAMING at Edge to listen to him! Edge pulls his hair back, pulling some completely out of his head as he does so and he stares sadistically at his little brother. Christian begins to explain to him that they should work together and eliminate Benoit, that he, Edge and Carlito could OWN this thing. Edge thinks about it for a moment and then nods his head. Christian begins to smile as he pulls himself up, shaking hands with Edge. He then tells Carlito that Edge is in, and from his knees, holding his stomach and wincing in pain, Carlito looks up to Edge and nods his head. “Cool.”

However, as before, they’ve allowed Benoit too much time to recuperate, and he charges in, drilling Christian from behind and begins to go shot for shot with Edge! They trade right hands until Benoit takes the advantage, firing Edge across and dropping him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker! He then races towards Christian with a low dropkick as he sits on his knees, connecting with his jaw! As soon as Benoit pops back up to his feet, Carlito swings him into the mat with a swinging neck breaker, halting the momentum. Edge and Christian now join in, and the three begin to stomp Benoit into the mat!

The crowd then pops as the number five spot belongs to Smackdown!’s Shelton Benjamin, who comes racing down to the ring, springing directly onto the top rope and flies off with a sitout clothesline on Carlito! Christian then charges him, but Shelton ducks low and PASTES him across the jaw with a shuffle kick, sending him flying over the top rope and ALMOST onto the floor, but Christian latches onto the bottom rope for dear life and lands on the apron.

Benjamin now ducks around Edge and connects with a fist to the head, followed up by a second before leaning him against the ropes. Edge, however, reverses the Irish whip and fires Benjamin across. Shelton comes off the ropes and leapfrogs over Edge, sets his feet as he lands, and then DRILLS Edge with a standing dropkick to the jaw that sends him flying over the top rope and onto the apron as well! Carlito grabs Benjamin from behind, lifting him off the mat with a back suplex, but Benjamin does a full flip over and lands on his feet, sending a thrust kick to Carlito. Carlito catches his foot and waves his finger, not about to fall for it and pulls Shelton in for a clothesline, but Shelton ducks it and grabs two fists full of Carlito’s hair and slams the back of his head into the mat!

Benoit is back up to his feet and he chops the hell out of Christian, and then out of Edge. He fires Christian into a corner, and then Edge in after him, pancaking them together. He now races in himself, but Edge ducks out of the way and Benoit clobbers Christian. Edge then charges in with a Spear, but now it’s Benoit who steps out of the way, and Edge Spears Christian! As Edge backs up, pulling at his hair with his eyes wide, Benoit grabs him by the waist and takes him over with a HUGE German suplex!

Oooooooh Yeaaaaaah!







“Live for the Moment” blasts over the speakers as FORMER Raw superstar, and now apparently free agent, Matt Hardy comes racing towards the ring with fire in his eyes at number six. He slides in and runs Benjamin over with a right hand, and then Benoit with a discuss lariat. He immediately pulls the Crippler up by the head and hooks him, JAMMING him into the mat with the Twist of Fate! Benjamin now comes in after him, but Hardy catches him with a Side Effect! He pops back up to his feet and screams out…


V-Ooooooooooooone Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!


Hardy begins to place the boots to Benjamin as Edge moves over onto Benoit, dropping down onto him and ramming repeated right hands onto his head. Carlito pulls himself up and joins Hardy in stomping all over Benjamin, but Matt turns on a dime and drills HIM to a pop from the crowd! Carlito hits the mat and rolls onto his knees, looking up at Hardy in shock, but Matt simply kicks him in the chest and drops down onto him, firing away with a series of closed fists!

Meanwhile, Christian remains in the corner, surveying the ring before joining Edge on his assault on Benoit, pulling him up and dumping him halfway over the ropes! Benoit holds on and hangs in for dear life as Edge and Christian have him hung upside down, and the crowd begins the countdown for the next participant.

The seventh spot belongs to Raw’s Rey Mysterio! Rey Rey comes tearing down to the ring and springs onto the middle ropes, flying into the ring with a West Coast Pop on Christian, taking him up and over! He then ducks an Edge lariat and springs off the middle ropes with a moonsault, but Edge catches him and goes to jam him into the mat, but Rey spins and turns it into a Tornado DDT!

The crowd pops as Mysterio then ducks around Hardy, coming off the ropes and back towards him, and he counters a tilt-a-whirl into a flipping head-scissors! Carlito now pulls himself up and he charges Mysterio, but Rey takes him into the ropes with a drop-toe-hold. The crowd then pops as they know what’s to come, and Rey comes charging in, spinning through the ropes with the 6-1-9! Carlito gets hit in the head and jolts up to his feet, stumbling into a Benjamin thrust kick and catches it. Somehow, Carlito tries to battle of out this and spins Benjamin around, but Shelton clocks him with the spin kick, and Carlito goes sailing OVER the top rope and to the floor, and he is the first man eliminated!

The crowd pops as Shelton looks down to Carlito and shrugs his shoulders, moving back over to Hardy and stomps him into the mat. He holds Hardy in place with his foot as Mysterio comes racing in for the Bronco Buster, but Hardy lifts his leg and catches Mysterio between his! The crowd cringes as Rey crumbles to the mat, and Shelton is quickly jumped on by Edge, followed by Christian. Benoit now comes back into play, pulling Edge and Christian off of Benjamin. They then pair off, Edge with Shelton and Christian with Benoit, who is absolutely kicking his ass! Benoit continuously drops Christian with right hands, and then runs him into the ropes, almost flipping him over!

Number eight, we are told is Stampede and now Raw’s Tyson Tomko. Tomko races down to the ring and immediately goes after Benoit, pulling him off of Christian. The Crippler battles back, but Tomko DROPS him with a Big Boot! Mysterio now goes over and takes Benoit’s spot, hanging Christian upside down, but Tomko now pulls him away and into a double handed chokehold, jamming Rey into the mat!

As soon as Shelton moves over towards Christian, Tomko runs him over with a lariat, standing tall in front of the CLB, telling everyone in the ring that if they want to get to Christian, they have to go through him. Christian stands behind the tattooed man, looking on in surprise, but he decides to go with it, breaking out into a grin and smacks his chest. Benoit and Shelton look up, taking this as a challenge, and they rush Tomko, dropping him with a double clothesline! As soon as Tomko rebounds to his feet, they begin to trade off, drilling him with right hand after right hand. Benjamin then drops Christian to the mat with a roaring elbow before latching onto Tomko from behind, holding him for a STIFF Benoit chop!

Benoit stiffs another two chops across his chest before dropping him throat first across the top rope. He pulls up on his legs as Shelton comes in from behind, leapfrogging Tyson and drops down onto him, crunching him into the ropes! Benoit then takes Tomko over with a HUGE German suplex, folding him up on the mat! Christian begins to pull at his hair, having no clue who this guy is, but he wants him on his side! He comes racing in towards Benjamin, but Shelton turns on a dime and catches him with an Exploder T-Bone suplex to a HUGE pop from the crowd! Benoit then pulls Tomko up, and Benjamin comes over to help, and they send him flying over the top rope and to the floor!

I Do It For The Druuuuuugs! I Do It Just To Feeeeeeel Aliiiive!







Christian begins to throw a fit once he realizes that Tomko has been eliminated, and the crowd makes some noise as Raw’s “Future”, Chris Sabin is the ninth man to hit the ring! He climbs onto the apron and Hardy immediately rushes him. Future uses the top rope to spring himself into the ring, rolling over Hardy’s back. As soon as Matt turns around, Sabin takes him over with a standing Hurricanrana! Mysterio now rushes Sabin with a reverse dropkick, but Chris catches him and takes him over with a wheelbarrow suplex, crunching him into the mat!

Sabin now pulls Edge in by the hair, hooking his head and races towards Christian, running up his chest and shoves off, spinning and JAMMING Edge head first into the mat with a Tornado DDT! The crowd is WAY into Sabin, and they pop huge as he and Hardy meet up in the middle of the ring, trading right hands! They both connect with a solid ten shots before Hardy breaks it up with a knee to the mid section, but Sabin reverses the Irish whip and goes for another Hurricanrana as Hardy comes forward. Matt, however, catches Future and runs him towards the ropes, about to Powerbomb him over, but Sabin holds onto the top rope and flips Hardy over the top and to the floor, and then skins the cat back into the ring as Matt Hardy has been eliminated!

This now leaves Chris Sabin, Chris Benoit, Christian, Edge, Shelton Benjamin, and Rey Mysterio as Hardy hits the floor, sitting on his ass and pulling at his hair, now COMPLETELY out of a job! The crowd begins to give it to him as Sabin waves goodbye with a grin, flipping Hardy off! Matt’s eyes grow wide and he slides back into the ring, rushing Sabin from behind, but Future turns to the side and throws Hardy over the top rope AGAIN! Officials now surround Hardy, keeping him from the ring and ordering him to the back!

“I Am” plays over the speakers as the International Champion AJ Styles enters the match at lucky number 10. He slides into the ring and picks his spot, booting Christian in the head and sends him down to the mat before mugging Benoit, jacking him into the mat with a swinging neck breaker. AJ and Future then square off as Benjamin and Edge try to flip one another over, with Mysterio joining Shelton in his attempt to eliminate Edge.

Styles and Sabin lock eyes and nod their heads, moving in on one another. They lock-up and Styles pulls Future into a side headlock. Sabin goes to take him over with a back suplex, but AJ does a full flip and lands on his feet, shuffling forward with a super kick. Future catches his foot and spins him around, catching him with a waist lock, but AJ battles free with elbow shots to the head. Styles comes charging in off the ropes and ducks Future’s lariat attempt. He hits the far side and springs off the middle ropes with a moonsault, flying OVER Sabin but hooks his head, JAMMING him into the mat with a reverse DDT with the motion!

Over on the other side of the ring, Shelton pulls Christian up to his feet from his hiding spot and begins to work him over, trying to flip him over. Christian battles back with a thumb to the eye and goes for the Unprettier! However, as he turns his back in mid move, Shelton shoves him chest first into the corner. Benjamin then takes a step back and comes charging in with a Stinger Splash, connecting dead on to Christian’s back, crushing him there!
