ONE OF A KIND!

The crowd pops as Rob Van Dam and Spanky return to Smackdown! They make their way down to the ring, Spanky climbing the ropes and shaking his booty while RVD thumbs to himself as the fans chant “ROB… VAN… DAM!”

“La Résistance” plays over the speakers to a loud amount of boos from the fans as Marie-Claude leads the Tag Team Champions down to the ring, waving the Québec and France flags respectively.

Once the champs arrive at ringside, both RVD and Spanky take a running start, flying OVER the top rope and onto the champions with rolling sentons! The crowd pops as the challenger bolt right back up to their feet, fully energized! Spanky rolls Grenier into the ring and begins to hammer away on Dupree on the outside. RVD climbs up to the top rope and waits for Sylvan to stand, and then he flies off with a side kick to his jaw!

Meanwhile, Rene counters Spanky and fires him off into the ring steps, sliding into the ring and saving his partner from a three count. Rene now begins to pound away on RVD, and Grenier joins him and they fire him across, ducking their heads for a double backdrop; however, RVD flips right over them and lands on his feet, hitting the ropes and drops the both of them with a flipping wheel kick!

Sylvan hits the mat and rebounds directly back up to his feet, catching an RVD thrust kick. RVD then misses with an enzaguri, but he connects on the reverse, sending Grenier sailing through the middle ropes and to the outside! However, as soon as he turns around, Rene is there to hoist him up and DRIVE him into the mat with a Spine Buster!

Dupree pops right back up to his feet and grins widely as he shuffles from side to side with the Frenchman dance! The crowd then pops as Spanky slides back into the ring, cradling Rene’s head from behind and runs right up the ropes, JAMMING him face first into the mat with the Sliced Bread! The crowd cheers loudly as Spanky measures Sylvan on the outside, flying through the middle ropes with a cross body that floors him! Meanwhile, RVD springs up to the top rope and flies off with the 5 Star Frog Splash that hits true! He covers the leg, ready to bring home the Tag Team Championship, but the official is distracted with Marie-Claude on the apron!

The crowd then makes some noise as who we now know to be Muhammad Hassan slides into the ring, pulling RVD right up off of Dupree and JAMS him into the mat with a Flatliner! He quickly rolls to the outside as Rene rolls over and covers RVD, and the official returns to count the one, two, three!

“La Résistance” hits the speakers once more as Hassan has once again saved the championships for Les Séparatistes! Hassan pulls Rene to the outside and also picks up Sylvan, aiding them back up the ramp and towards the back.

Teddy Hart appears from the back, followed closely by Smackdown! newcomer John Heidenreich. They stand across from Les Séparatistes and Hassan, with Heidenreich ready to run them over, but Teddy holds his hands up and nods his head, letting Big john know that they’re cool.

They make their way past the Tag Champs and to the ring, entering it. Spanky stands above RVD, not about to abandon his partner, but is being very cautious. Teddy steps right up to him, SLAPPING him across his face. Hart begins to talk down to Spanky, telling him to get on his knees and kiss his feet. Spanky stands with his head hung low, not making eye contact, knowing that Heidenreich is ready to explode. When Spanky refuses to get down on the mat, Teddy pie faces him down to a round of boos from the fans!

As soon as Spanky pops back up to his feet, Heidenreich runs him over with a HUGE lariat, flipping him feet over head! He then grabs his legs and slingshots him into the ropes, and Spanky rebounds off of them and lands directly across the big man’s knees!

The crowd cringes as Spanky rolls around on the mat, and this prompts RVD to come to his aid, but he runs right into a big boot! Meanwhile, Teddy rolls to the outside and picks up a steel chair, sliding back into the ring with a grin. He calls for Heidenreich to pull Spanky up, and as soon as he does so, he BLASTS him with the chair! He then calls for the same to RVD, and he lays out Van Dam as well! Teddy calls for the mic as the fans absolutely BOOM with boos!

Teddy: Jesse… THAT was for you!

He slams the mic down to the mat and lets the chair drop as well, spitting on Spanky as he exits the ring, and we go to a commercial break.
